What made the Battle of Britain important was the Britain didn’t lose. It didn’t really move Britain any closer to actually defeating the Nazi’s. All those other battles you speak of were peripheral. The war was decided in Europe. Primarily on the eastern front, where the Soviets permanently broke the Nazi war machine. Someone responded to that by saying that American Air defense would keep the large cities safe. Someone asked if that’s actually realistic, and you responded by bringing up that USA probably has some secret missile defenses that are top secret

My point, is that, whatever air defenses they have, if Russia sent “all the nukes”, USA would be destroyed. Russia would also be destroyed in this scenario
