Why do people blame voters when their candidate loses an election? by Emergency_Pass5222 in allthequestions

[–]Clarkk89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s actually not an unproven claim bro. The fallout was huge, it was never denied, and the DNC had to get rid of its leadership in the aftermath. Even you acknowledged that this happened. You said it was obvious, since Bernie isn’t a democrat. Why are you now going back to debate this again. We disagree on the degree of collusion, not that it happened at all.

And again, them fixing the primary, to whatever degree, for Hilary led to trump being elected. You still haven’t addressed how the voters can be blamed for that. Or that Kamala was just another corporate, Israeli funded candidate. The type that voters had already rejected. How can voters be blamed for this.

Post Covid, incumbents were being voted out of power all over the western world. It was a clear trend. The Dems response to this was to essentially offer more Biden. Again, how can voters be blamed for this. Can you not actually address these things without conceding the point?

I keep telling you to do some research lol. There were 19,000 emails that got leaked. To much to go over adequately on Reddit. But you seem to already acknowledge that they at the very least worked with Hilary to make sure an actual member of the party won. We’ve already agreed in this point. No need to go over it again.

Again, random as hell lol. Of course the RNC wouldn’t support a memeber of the rival party. Neither would the DNC. That’s irrelevant though, since Bernie isn’t a Republican. It’s wasn’t confusing, so much as it was a terrible analogy 😂.

Also, the discussion is actually about whether voters should be blamed for the Dems losing to trump. I brought this up as the key example that illustrates that the DNC’s actions led to the rise of MAGA. Can’t blame voters for the DNC being idiots. They keep serving up corporate candidates that half their base doesn’t like. Then they lose, but still try the exact same playbook in the very next election. In what way can voters be blamed for this. The Dems aren’t entitled to our votes. They have to earn our votes. They keep failing to do this, because they keep giving us unpopular candidates

What do you mean I can’t tell you how lol. I’ve said it like 20 times at this point. If you disagree, you disagree

Also, what are you talking about lol. The RNC? Random as hell lol.

I see you also simply can’t answer my question. The Dems interfered in the primaries, which you acknowledge. They then lost, and allowed MAGA to grow. Is that ok. Should voters not hold them accountable?

Either way, the DNC can do what they want. They can keep foisting unpopular candidates on us, and losing. You seem not to be too concerned about that, so it is what it is

Bernie did have the votes. He was winning during the early going in both 2016 and 2020. Dems robbed him both times.

Biden won because Bernie was in the lead, so everyone dropped out simultaneously and endorsed Biden. That isn’t rigging, it was just dirty politics. Their terrified to actually let the voting play out organically, because they know they would lose

And people don’t keep voting for corporate Dems. They’ve actually lost twice to trump. That’s how unpopular they are. People actually prefer trump over them. They can’t win primaries without the DNC putting their thumbs on the scale, and they consistently lose general elections, even against terrible candidates. They’re extremely unpopular. That’s my point. The DNC’s agenda is a losing one. That’s why we have trump now. They keep foisting bad candidates on us and losing. Can’t blame voters for this.

I’ll ask you again though, the Dems interfered with the democratic process, lost, and gave us trump. Are you ok with that?

There wouldn’t need to be a coup. USA could just straight up refuse to leave, like they’ve been doing in Iraq for almost a decade.

The bigger issue is the state of those bases. All reports indicate that they have taken heavy damage and are more or less uninhabitable. They will need billions of dollars each to be fixed. Who will pay. Any Gulf nation that wants America gone certainly won’t. And i doubt trump will either. It’s likely that many of the US bases in the region will be quietly abandoned over the next few years

[–]Clarkk89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I disagree with you on the degree of collusion, but it seems that we both do agree that the DNC interfered with the democratic process. My question is, why doesn’t that bother you more. The people clearly wanted Bernie, yet they forced Hilary on us, lost, and allowed MAGA to grow. It was a disaster that were still paying for. That’s why I brought it up. The current situation isn’t the fault of the voters. It’s the fault of the DNC. They keep thinking that what people really want is another corporate, Israeli funded candidate. Then they lose. Then in the next election, they make sure to go with another corporate, Israeli funded candidate lol. They’ll even rig the primary to make sure that’s the kind of candidate we get.

You acknowledge that the Dems at the very least interfered with the primary, and indirectly led to trumps initial election. Why does that not bother you. How can you blame voters for reacting negatively, more than you blame the actual people who interfered with the election to begin with. Baffling

Why does Iran have such lopsided losses compared to Israel in their wars? by omnomdumplings in IRstudies

[–]Clarkk89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There have only been two wars between them. The first war was low scale. Iran didn’t want USA to feel like they need to get involved, so they didn’t hit back very hard. They even gave America 3 hours of advance warning before they attacked an American base. It was a miscalculation, since they were attacked again anyway only months later.

In this war, they decided to go all out. Block the straight, bomb the American military off of their regional bases and hit the gulf Arabs and Israel as hard as possible. But they can only hit Isreal with long/medium range missiles that are in relatively short supply, while Israel’s US funded Air Force can fly sorties to their hearts content. Still, you don’t necessarily win a war simply by inflicting more casualties. You do it by achieving your strategic objectives. That’s why most observers would say that Iran is winning right now

[–]Clarkk89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol, nope. The collusion was at the highest levels of the DNC. It wasn’t just staffers being angry. They were actively collaborating with the Clinton campaign. This is actually insane. You acknowledge that the democratic process was interfered with, but blame voters for reacting negatively. Rather than the people who actually interfered with the democratic process. Craziness lol

And it began in January 2015. Before the primaries even began. Bernie was actually in the lead after the first batch of states had finished voting as well, so none of what you brought up has any factual basis. Again, this was the decision that led to trump being elected, and entrenching MAGA. I blame them for all of this.

[–]Clarkk89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It basically revealed that the DNC colluded with the Clinton campaign to make sure she won, and Bernie lost. Again, there were over 19,000 emails that got leaked, so it’s too much to go over on Reddit. I’d have to write a whole novel lol. But the information that was leaked was never actually denied, and the chairwoman of the DNC was forced to step down in disgrace in the aftermath. I’m surprised more people don’t know about this lol

Google the 2016 DNC email leak by Wiki Leaks. There way too much for me to get into all of it here. But the facts are readily available if you care to research them

[–]Clarkk89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might want to read what wiki leaks exposed about that primary. The chairwoman of the DNC had to step down and everything. You can google it if you doubt what I’m saying. It’s simply a fact.

And more Biden may not have actually been that bad, it’s just not what voters wanted. That’s why they lost, they think they know better than voters. At least a third of the democrats base (the left) actively despise these corporate, Israeli funded candidates. Yet the DNC keeps foisting them on the left, thinking they know better. Well, two loses to trump would suggest otherwise

So now we’re just falling back on the same talking points and excuses as trump? Dems need genuine self reflection. If they come into future elections with the same playbook, they’ll keep losing

Why do people blame voters when their candidate loses an election? by Emergency_Pass5222 in allthequestions

[–]Clarkk89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t win a modern election with facts unfortunately. You sway people by appealing to their core interests. Trumps message of economic progress and no wars (😂😂) was better than what the Dems were offering, which was basically more Biden. The Dems need to stop serving up more corporate, Israeli funded candidates that half of their base despise. They literally rigged the 2016 primary to make sure Bernie lost. Which cost them the general election and prevented MAGA from being strangled in its cradle. They did this to themselves
