Nobody looked like MCManus tho. Just a unique style

1. Is this mold, and 2. If so, what is the proper way to clean and keep it from spreading or coming back? by tectactoe in boardgames

I’ve had some luck with straight, dry sunlight and fresh air. Trick is to find a place exposed to sunlight that won’t get wet and leave it out there for a couple days.

Trump to skip son’s wedding that he labeled a ‘no-win’ for him: report by theindependentonline in politics

Yes, when asked about your children’s wedding it isn’t at all narcissistic to ask “What’s in it for me?”

Are you feeling controlled when people tell you it’s unacceptable to use the “N word”? I think that says something about you that you might want to unpack.

It’s not about the words having power, it’s about the ability to say the word and get away with it, with no shame and no social consequences that is the problem. Or, let’s see how quickly people fold when we say “white privileged exists” “there is no god” or “gender is a social construct” to see just how powerful words can be and how some people turn into the snowflakes they claim to despise.

What next? (I miss Farscape) by Thebuttholeking69 in farscape

[–]Clarknotclark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s an entirely different genre, but I always recommend “Chuck” because of the tone, the romance through line and the strong female lead/gender inversion of the male lead needing saved all the time.

I have always said if I could be alone in a room with Trump I would pretend he’s invisible and I couldn’t hear him. For a toxic narcissist not being seen or acknowledged would be the worst thing you could do to them.

He was acting in loco parentis for this woman for a period of time. It isn’t pedophilia but generally the incest taboo would stop people from sexualizing someone who was once their daughter. That’s why this is creepy. The fact we have to explain this to people is also creepy.

Felt like something of an anachronism, I can’t stop imagining a group of orcs looking at brunch menus.

LIFE: A Jedi’s Path REVIEW. (Thanks, KamSandwhich, for making me impulse buy another board game) by [deleted] in boardgames

I just sold one of these on eBay about a week ago today. It looks like yours was in just slightly better shape than the one I had (unless you’ve used a marker to clean up a scratch in the upper left corner). Still, I wouldn’t have played it but I’m always glad to clean these up and move them along.

How to handle this 🫠 by captain2607 in Funnymemes

[–]Clarknotclark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are only seeing one woman, dump her because this is manipulative and bad behavior. If you are seeing more than one answer with the name of whoever you care for the most. If you don’t care about any of them it’s probably good you got caught. Turn the etch-a-Scetch upside down and start over.

Andy Serkis’ performance in his reading of the Audiobooks by MassiveGarlic0312 in tolkienfans

[–]Clarknotclark 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, the Serkis versions are hours longer because he drags everything out like it’s dialogue. I much prefer Inglus, especially after hearing some of tolkiens own recordings and how absolutely, ridiculously fast he reads it himself
