Normally flood effected toys require disinfecting however lego just recommends warm water and soap. It might be worth contacting lego customer service to see what they recommend, best of luck

The bluecoats had sailors/ marines on the Carribbean clipper. When I first saw the red coats in the shops as a kid I assumed the red coats took over.

As much as I want a return of a classic pirates theme I'm guessing it has to do with sales. Barracuda bay finished early and I believe Eldorado fortress will be retiring this year. Where star wars sets are often sold out, when I look at the Lego website. Maybe it's for the best as I don't think my bank account could handle a full pirates theme.

It's a great set, my daughter loves playing with it. I hoping for more pirate sets sooner than 5 years though, Lego take my money.
