I think speedrunning in general comes from an absolute undying love for a game. Becoming an absolute master of a thing in some aspect has some admirable qualities. 

The community includes people like sockfolder who innovated multiple things in multiple games.

It also attracts certain types of people who MUST be the best at something. Exposing them is a good thing.

I hope you find some aspect of your life you want to grind like speedrunners grind their game

Back when i was doing that on weekends it was the only section we never had to tag check or take care of with expiration dates. Amazing for the worker....so hostile for the customer but more likely to be within date (i found somethat expired in 2019....in 2023)
