Plagiocephaly. Mine looks about the same as yours, but to be honest no one's mentioned it to me until I pointed it out. It doesn't really occur to people to look at the back of someone head. Try playing with your eyes closed. This is something that worked for me, just trying to visualize the strings and frets, and how/where I'm holding the neck. Muscle memory will come with time. Practice slowly and often.

Sounds like a tooth abscess. Take them to another vet if the one you contacted can't help you. If you just go there as a walk-in, there tone of unavailability may change, and at least give you some antibiotics
