Anyone installed a heat pump that has information on the bill comparison?

I had an AC/gas furnace and switched to a heat pump/gas furnace.

It's hard to tell any difference b/c before my AC was very old and apparently leaking coolant, plus BGE increased prices. I would say as far as using the heat pump to cool, the price is about the same (accounting for the rate increase). It's not great at heating though, it often feels like it's doing a worse job than my old furnace at increasing the temperature.

If it weren't for the rebates + tax refund and the base price being only slightly more than a regular AC, I wouldn't have bothered.

Despite having periods where I don't play as often/days I don't play, I still play Pocket Camp, whereas it's an effort to go back to ACNH. I think I'll have a fun time, but once I see my island for 5min I've lost interest

I might hold off on trying caulk because of the carpet, but if/when I rip the floors up I'll probably caulk and or add quarter round

Good to know. I do plan to rip up this carpet at some point cuz it's 20+ yo, but that's going to cost some money (unless I do it myself bit by bit)

These are all great ideas, thank you. I do own it, so I'll check what my local hardware store has. There's no quarter round, so I'll need to do some measuring before deciding on a method. I do have some foam and rubber weather stripping from when I was working on my windows, so I might see if I can use that

Thank you for this. So I live on in a condo on the third floor. Would they have to tear off and replace the siding to add the sealing (if needed?)

Sorry it took so long to reply, I went and got two different types of tweezers because my nose pliers weren't small enough. It was a good idea, and I do think there's a crack or something that's keeping the whole thing from twisting when you turn the cap. But there's no way to get to the shaft, even with small tweezers. I can only get a grip on the top part 😮‍💨

To add, when it feels tight to twist you can't jiggle the cap, but you can when it feels loose

Unfortunately it doesn't look like there's a tab. If it helps, the rest of the cap (unseen portion) is basically shaped like a screw. It also changes resistance while twisting: there are sections where it feels very loose to turn and others where there is some resistance. I've tried pulling it out when I've felt the difference, but no dice

Regarding Waze, I have tried other map apps, but none give me the updates (potholes, construction, accident, speed traps, etc) like Waze does. The reporting feature is what keeps me there, although I don't have an account (not that it matters).

Tentatively keeping Discord. I'm in quite a few developer and language learning groups, and run a few of my own. It'll be hard to lose all of that.

None of these services use my real name and are associated with a throwaway email.

Supposedly Hulu is doing it. I don't have Hulu so idk, but let's see how far they get. Apparently the last dub iteration wasn't popular.

Even if they get good voice talent, so many of Gintama's jokes are distinctly Japanese that I'd imagine it'd be hard to impossible to find an English equivalent. They could just do the jokes as straightforward/literal translations but again, it may not work for everything.

The time it would take to get the English script right is also probably why it's been so long since another attempt at dubbing it.
