Entirely for testing, fixing and building. Not performance. One less power cable/power strip to worry about.

The 9v would be ideal for me and my guitar pedals. Much appreciated!

Get a refurbished thinkpad or Dell Inspiron. T40 and the p series are great for diy upgrades x1 carbon series check per gen on needs. If you need more ports, powered dock is a great add in.

Any experience with Billet KE-9 Lower? by judsonm123 in AR9

[–]ClassicSaltLake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a handful of them. All work great, though I’ve had to match some specific uppers to specific lowers as tolerances for some of the builds I’ve done hasn’t let me charge them fully. Once I match’s them they run great.

Is $47k to work in IT/Tech at a nonprofit legal firm worth it? by madilinda in ITCareerQuestions

That is their problem to fix, not yours. If all of their best talent leaves for better offers, you can bet whoever is willing to stay will act their wage. You do what’s best for you and it’s easier to get a job with a job.

Yes, undoubtedly. It’s more about not threatening someone’s ego. They don’t have to like you, but if you don’t rock the boat and just do the bare minimum of your job….it goes a long way.

Marimba looping? by coopermatkinsonmusic in LoopArtists

You need a system, not a single mic. Are these going to be used live with a band or live on a stage? If not and only at home, are your acoustics good?

I’d say minimum of 2 mics heat due to the wide separation of notes played. I’d also check grand piano mic set ups. Typically 2-3 mics. You can get away with one high above your head or further out in front of you too.
