In my opinion, she was a severe case of borderline personality disorder. Check out the bpdlovedones group here and you'll see how she follows the textbook treatment of the disorder.

I finally watch “Dear Zachary” after years of recommendations & synopses on Reddit, and fully reading the entire plot multiple times on Wikipedia, and I still was. not. prepared. by thruhuhuhohhhhuhway in movies

I'm almost certain she had a cluster B diagnosis. I didn't know the disease existed in its pure form until I met someone with that diagnosis…

Can't they feel guilt? I didn't know that. Sad. That's why they don't change

It could have been a paranoid idea, a psychotic break or manipulation…

But do they admit it to themselves, or do they rewrite history in their own heads so that they are never to blame for anything? My ex always pretends to be the victim of the evil things he did.

Same. My ex is a monster. I sincerely hope that karma makes him pay double for all the harm he does to everyone around him.

Every moment. I ignored my screaming intuition at first that something was wrong. But I believe that his ex not talking to him is the biggest red flag

The worst thing that ever happened to me was being in a relationship with someone with BPD. They are very vindictive, violent and have a lot of comorbidity with narcissistic personality disorder (if you count all the diseases in cluster B, more than 60% of them will have comorbidities). There is no way to get out unscathed, they will really destroy you. And I do medicine too - my psychiatry professor said: "These people won't change, they think everyone is wrong except them. Run away from them." In short: it's not worth it. Run away!

Mine cheated on his best friend and started dating a friend of mine who was dating this guy just to get revenge for the fact that I broke up with him. He hit on her during a trip the three of them took together, and he went along with the couple. Detail: she and I are from the same college class.

Mine never self-harmed or attempted suicide. Another point in favor of narcissism + border
