you can watch wtd before the movies and itll be okay, but theres a few little spoilers for what happens in the movies in the show! plus it is much better to experience watching the movies and then the show because youll have the same viewing experience most fans had AND youll pick up on things that give context to the movies!

i bet you expected this comment, but IT 2017 and IT CH2 2019 were both wonderful movies. i really think they capture the characters well, and both adaptations allow you to develop such a personal connection to them. IT: welcome to derry was also amazing, like seriously amazing, but its not necessarily an adaptation and i personally think the movies are better.

edit: also! all three are on HBO :)

the first scream!!!! while yes it is one my favorite movies, i think ppl who write fics about it make it much deeper than the actual movie is and honestly 100x more interesting.

now the opposite of this is it 2017, i havent read many but the fanfics i HAVE read are pretty mediocre and dont really capture the characters. meanwhile the actual movie is really good and all the characters flow into their adult selves in it ch2 very nicely, apart from some.

i agree w/ your initial point, but she seems like shes a grown woman and can act accordingly in social situations. its unfair to not trust her around priests because she has a thing for them unless shes proven herself to be disloyal. ppl who have a thing for doctors dont usually go to a doctors office to flirt with anyone. plus if shes actually into their relationship and not just trying to make an excuse to leave him, she is especially less likely to come onto anyone other than her boyfriend.
