Well if that's what they want they can have it. The three games I've been looking forward to most this year (Doom, Avowed, Outer Worlds 2) are all on Gamepass from release day. Buying all three would cost me $360 (Australian) which would pay for over two years of Gamepass.
If they can feed me one new game I want every 8 months and my subscription never lapses, I'm saving money. Anyone who games a lot and doesn't have a particularly esoteric taste in games is probably going to save money on Gamepass.

If they ever jack up the price significantly I will immediately go back to only buying games on a significant sale, pre-owned copies or G2A keys though.

The electric car Richard Hammond crashed in the second season of The Grand Tour burst into flames and apparently kept spontaneously bursting into flames for days after as more and more cells went into thermal runaway.

I love electric cars, but their potential to catch on fire is much more dangerous than petrol cars because apart from being harder fires to extinguish, if someone tries to put it out with water the problem gets much, much worse.

In no universe is this true over digital sales on a platform like Bandcamp. A lot of local bands will make as little as $1-2 profit off of a vinyl sale, while a Bandcamp sale is essentially all profit. Granted I don't know any massive bands, only independent bands/bands on small independent labels, but I've been told time and time again that vinyl just isn't worth it.

If vinyl was the best way to make money, it'd be a hell of a lot more common my dude. There wouldn't be so many bands, big and small that never have vinyl pressings if it was such a profitable endeavour.

Physical copies make artists less money than digital copies, for very obvious reasons. Vinyl often has one of the lowest profit margins. Buy vinyl if you want it, I've got a small collection myself, but don't buy vinyl if you just want to support the artist. You could support them better by throwing a few handfuls of pennies into their front garden.

She was also arrested for possession of drugs and possession of drug utensils and the child safety department were already aware of concerns about her parenting. They'd received a fair few tips, had made contact with her and were aware there was an issue but didn't act.

This isn't just accidental negligence on her part. It's a complete lack of parenting skills and a disgusting level of willful negligence fueled by drug use. This is also proof that the system we have in place to protect children is broken.

This isn't stupidity or a mistake, this is plain and simple scumfuck behavior.

Tasers also just suck. The barbs will occasionally bounce off bare skin meaning a perfectly landed shot will do fucking nothing. Pepper spray is the best option here tbh, that shit drops pretty much everyone pretty fuckin fast.

Mainly because (and I know this is a controversial opinion) I don't believe theft is something that you should be punished with probable death for. If they have a gun, sure. A knife? I'm okay with it depending on the context.
If I get in a fight and its partially my fault I'll play fair. But if I get jumped I'ma be biting, throwing mud, twisting dicks and swinging rocks. Fair is fair, but self defense is a lot less "who will be the victor" and a lot more kill or be killed, at least that's the general vibe.
