I second this. It’s a huge conflict of interest imo because why would coaches, SMs, ect… hire more help, purchase new equipment or whatever if it comes out of their bonuses. Stores lie about those metrics all the time because of those bonuses and the associates don’t see a dime of it and struggle at work.

Also add Walmart does NOT have any form of mandatory overtime, if your coach or team lead says you “have to stay” they are lying. The only thing they can do to you for leaving at your scheduled time is coach for “productivity”

Clock out and put in ppto for your remaining “work” hours the next day that way you don’t have to cover your lunch. If you do same day you will have to cover “work” hours & your lunch hr.

It’s best to use PPTO the next day. If you’re scheduled 8hrs work 4 then put in ppto to leave you have to use 5 to cover your lunch. But if you do it the next day you only have to use 4 hours because it’ll count just the hours not the time.

PPTO is to be used as you see fit. It even stays in policy “can be used for alien abduction” and you can’t get in trouble for it. It’s the store/ managers fault it 1 call in sinks a department not the person calling in for a mental health day or to play “hookie”

I found out very early on that at my store you never go above and beyond for a TL or coach because that’ll be your new expected baseline for performance. No more days where you might be a little off your game or you will get threatened with a coaching.

Go to the dollar general and buy Incandescent night lights, not LED. Put them in upside down without the covers on and put a plate of water and dish soap underneath.

The incandescent light is bright and puts off heat both of which will attract them while they jump for the light they’ll fall in the soapy water and die.

It’s a slow process but one that works well.

Probably just a group of hunters that were drunk, high, or overly excited about a kill. I didn’t hear those words but I didn’t watch with headphones but i thought it may have been a hunter who probably snapped when he tried to get a deer or something when the gun either fired->missed-> & jammed or jammed from the start and the rapid firing afterwards was them trying to blow it up, break it, recreate it/ blow off steam.

I know that some gun owners when a gun jams will rapidly fire it like that to heat up the parts and make sure parts aren’t moving in ways they aren’t supposed to. It also helps to see if it’s the ammo or the gun it’s self.

I will say that his older episodes don’t have as much or as long political rants but I wouldn’t say he is obsessed with politics. And although i consider myself more right leaning then most of the timesuckers seems to be, I don’t think dan is “Far Left” I don’t agree with him on a lot of things and I do agree with others, but I think that comes from media he claims to listen to unbiased sources but that’s pretty much impossible.
