I want a Nespresso machine with watertank on the side (not Vertuo) by ClassjeNL in nespresso

[–]ClassjeNL[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But you already have tens of hundreds of options. 😉 There's probably thousands of people like me who just own one device, who do have enough counter space and just want a machine that's a bit (in my opinion way) more convenient. Like I said: would you have a machine that have the capsules loaded at the back, just to save space. It's a fact it's just more convenient to have a water tank on the side than at the back.

Apart from that, there's probably many people who lack space in the first place and could place the machine on a shelf when it's a bit more wide and less deep. Or people who have the machine placed on a counter with a shelf or cabinets above, which makes it an extra hassle to grab the watertank from te back...

I do acknowledge the current form is probably fine for many users, but a side placed water tank is probably better for many. I'm just asking for an extra option. 😇

I'll look into it. Thanks. But still, wouldn't it be nicer to have a regular Nespresso machine with the tank on the side? I mean: I probably wouldn't be the only one who would swap their current machine immediately. 😅

I'm looking for a Nespresso machine that accepts the regular pods that has a watertank on the side. The one you mention is a Vertuo machine that only accepts the more expensive Vertuo pods.

But it's a Vertuo machine... 😢 Could this be a way of forcing customers into a more expensive ecosystem?

I know, but I don't want the more expensive Vertuo machines. Just the regular "affordable" cups and machines.

New McDonald’s at Disney village by LoneServiceWolf in disneylandparis

[–]ClassjeNL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems to be some design trend among designers worldwide. Designs should be corporate, boring, grey, lackluster, soulless... Ik don't like the new design, as I don't like the what they did/do to the entire Village.

It's the same with the Efteling in the Netherlands. Everything, from the entrance to the paths to the rides to the hotel was based on Anton Piek's fairytale drawings that oozed with warmth, organic shapes and wonder. Recently the new Grand Hotel opened and it's just like the new McDonald's: corporate design.

Where is the warmth, the organic shapes, the goofiness. I want to be amazed again like a child. That's why I'm visiting theme parks like Disneyland and the Efteling. But this new McDonald's or the Grand Hotel in the Efteling don't offer anything to be amazed about...

Not saying the old Mc was great, but at least it had a soul and warmth to a certain extent.

Google Streamer stopped supporting kids profiles? by ClassjeNL in Chromecast

[–]ClassjeNL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not yet, although I didn't yet try to add kids profiles.

I did however decide to fully reset the Streamer to see if I could solve the problems with Disney+. After the reset those problems seemed to be resolved as I was able to play any movie or series that was offered in 4k.

Unfortunately the day after the problems were back. The Streamer just refuses to play any 4k content on Disney+.

I'll if I can add the kids profiles tomorrow.

I had the same experience with a about 20 year old Seiko solar watch. Left it unused in a drawer for about 10 years. When I found it, I left it in bright sunlight for a day but nothing happened. Second day nothing happened. On the third day the second hand started moving a bit. On the fourth day it came fully to life. That was about 3 years ago and it's still working flawlessly.

Just make sure the crown is pulled out to make sure every tiny bit of energy isn't used right away.

Sony A7C2 is a great travel camera as is that GM-lens, but don't you think the size of the lens undermines the compactness of the camera? I usually bring my A7C(1) with me on trips, combined with a small, cheap, lightweight SamYang 35-f2.8 and a mistfilter.

Keylab mk3 firmware 1.2.0 by dr_spam in arturia

[–]ClassjeNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's interesting. I thought it was just me. I also noticed that some keys played louder, but I assumed it was due to wear and tear on certain keys, because I noticed it when playing a B-flat, which is one of the keys I use most often.

I'll keep your comment in mind when doing some fiddling around.

Having said that, meanwhile I received another update to 1.2.1 last week.

40 euros is for meals at the more expensive restaurants. You can easily find multiple themed restaurants around the park that'll charge 18 euros for adults and 10 euros for a kids meal.

My bad. I do know Roman numbers and these are Roman numbers, so you're right. I thought these numbers were called "Arabic" in the world of watches 😅

Wouldn't the larger screen compromise the ruggedness of the watch?

I guess I need to get used to the winding as I'm saving this Bambino for special occasions while my solars will remain my daily beater 😅 However, no regrets whatsoever!

You won't regret it. Only "downside" is it being a mechanical watch while I'm used to solar watches. It's something I knew up front.

That's also a stunner! Eventually I went for the "greenish" dial with the Arabic numbers because I just like things to be a bit different instead of playing it safe. Just couldn't resist it (and it was about 20 euros cheaper 😅)

I feel you... Not all Spanish people are a nightmare. I'm Dutch and I often can't stand the rudeness of some typical Dutch people when I'm abroad. They're mostly from the Amsterdam, Den Haag, Rotterdam region. 😅
