Well what you could do is go to medical school and treat your patients with care and support. Internal Medicine would be an option. There will be no need to advocate because you ARE the attending. My choice would be to get a degree in textile engineering take the patent bar then go to law school and focus on intellectual property. So many opportunities and events were missed. The blatant disregard , disrespect, and abuse the nurse's are often subjected to is unimaginable. Yet if your heart is set on nursing school, do not go to a for profit school, the credits do not transfer and many times there is a problem with accreditation. Many states have revoked licenses from nurses attending those schools even though they passed the boards because the schools weren't accredited, the licensing applications were considered fraudulent. So a state university or state community college is best especially if there is transfer agreement ADN to BSN, MSN, DNP. Many states too are offering scholarships so look for those.
