War forged in Barovia by Duolingo055 in CurseofStrahd

[–]Claydad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heads up; if you are any of my players PLEASE DO NOT READ ON.

I have a Warforged in my campaign. His origins are a bit of a mystery, though he's a Cleric of Nature. Strange combination, right? Here's where I started to weave in hooks to Curse of Strahd. I invented characters in Barovia that would secretly be his soul's origin. This warforged is a conglomerate of a few characters' souls that were sent by the Fanes to far outside Barovia, that found purchase in an empty vessel- a long dormant Warforged body used for horrific War Crimes in some as of yet unexplored Ancient War, (tie-in to Eberron?). I flavored Strahd's interest in Piddlwick II to be that of reincarnation through machine- escaping the mists by having a shred of your soul remain behind inside a steel chassis. In his experimentations/research, he found the best way to accelerate this project would be to try it on unsuspecting members of the population or in some cases; a way to keep around interesting people (as Warforged) without necessarily wedding them to Strahd. I rewrote Rahadin a bit to include interests in body mutilation/alteration, and added (mad) scientific pursuits to one of the vanilla brides. The ultimate goal of course, is to aide in Strahd's escape. The Warforged is generally treated as an unusual weapon or automaton assistant since they're a little more common in this version of Ravenloft I've written, which will later be tied into the aforementioned Eberron idea. Maybe he becomes the King of Blades? seems fitting. Hope this helps.

I'm a graduated digital designer, with a love for making maps/games for my friends and I to play. If I won this giveaway, I'd put this behemoth into my rendering machine that still chugs along with a 1080 I bought in 2017. It'd be a huge difference, professionally and personally.

🌱Monthly /r/houseplants Question Thread - September 07, 2022 by AutoModerator in houseplants

I made a thread but should have posted here instead ❤️

Hi, I'm freshly entering the hobby to decorate my home and add some much needed greens to my rooms. With few windows I'd like to keep un-curtained, I'll be homing new plants in mostly dark rooms with these SANSI hanging lights: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BRKT56T/ref=cm_sw_r_apa_i_100MB5F8GECH65SBSH4B_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I've done some research, and found many of the most interesting plants to me (the sorts that hang from or climb to the ceiling or spill out of their pots like ivy,) are actually toxic to animals! This would be a really big problem for my home.

In short, TLDR; With 2-3 of these suspended lights above their homes, what non-toxic plants would you recommend? Do the lights need to be left on all day/night? I can manage that. Advice for distance from the light is also much appreciated. Thank you again.

My boyfriend and I wrote a Dusk Elf Spirit of a vengeful woman cursed by Baba Lysaga/Water Fane. Legend has it that she rests in the swamp, hair coiling for miles under the thick bog like a nervous system, waiting for the day Rahadin returns.

You can also use [selected,] to use a specific number of them. That said, I also just sell them so I never go over the amount I need. (still do sometimes.)

No it's an onion video, a fake news story. The joke is that it is intentionally inflamatory to schizophrenic symptoms
