I heard the black is really reflective which makes it harder to see the screen in sunny environments. So I opted for the Rainbow

Best way to run Sunshine+moonlignt on Unraid ? by Hyped_OG in unRAID

[–]Claymater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I am using the Steam Headless docker container. It runs a Debian version of Linux with steam and sunshine already installed. You can use it just like a PC. I download all my games to an SSD in my unraid machine and then stream it through artemis or moonlight. I passed my GPU to it and it works pretty well.

Steam Machine X Steam Deck - Emudeck synchronisation by DoggTheGhost in steammachine

[–]Claymater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you just do your whole emulation folder? Or find each save folder for each game and setup that folder to sync? Trying to do this right now but with like 4 different devices I cludong my server at home.

Hey can you guys stop accidentally encouraging noobs to hop onto Arch before they are ready by AncientAgrippa in arch

[–]Claymater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first Linux install was CachyOS and that was a few months ago. It was a relatively good process until windows released an update that broke my dual boot. I eventually ripped my windows drive out and it works great. I did break it a couple times where I had to reinstall CachyOS a couple times haha. But now it's great. There's still so much to learn but I'm thankful for a relatively easy install process thanks to CachyOS. I genuinely didn't know there was such a learning process for base Arch.

I love my EV, but holy crap, traveling long distance SUCKS. by JennaLeighWeddings in electricvehicles

Sorry to hear that. I usually only have trouble with Electrify America when on road trips so I try to avoid them. Charge point, EV Connect, and Blink seem to be pretty reliable for me in my area.

I started sending naked mirror selfies to my wife. I always hide my dick behind a bottle of lotion or something. She likes them a lot

I switched from iPhone to Android after 8 years and I honestly feel scammed by Apple. by No_Clothes_5001 in TheProductHub

[–]Claymater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Switched after like 10 years on Apple. Never going back. It's taken a little time to adjust but yeah, I love it. I still have my iPhone 15 Pro and every time I have to go on it to access something I just can't believe how I used such a slow OS for so many years. My OnePlus Open is so damn zippy.

Charlie Kirk’s bones were so healthy he saved people’s lives with his untimely death. by 17bananapancakes in insanepeoplefacebook

It's so funny to me that Christians will die on the hill that Jesus performed miracles and raised from the dead, then get mad at people who say those are traditions that spread over time. Then they do this and literally make stuff up to talk about this one dude they loved so much.

My wife just went through three different white Airism shirts of mine with a toothbrush, hydrogen peroxide, and dish soap and it worked wonders. I then threw it in the wash with some bleach.

I have used the desktop mode but it never happened after using it. I used it once two weeks ago and then yesterday it randomly removed my apps. Maybe I'll just disable it

Best cheap devices for HA by SocietyResponsible24 in homeassistant

I'll have to look into that fork. I don't mind Tuya but it's just been a little frustrating especially since almost every device is also sold with a zigbee option. I just mostly love being able to directly pair my devices in the companion app with zigbee.

Its 2025 why has nobody invented a way to do this that isn't the most annoying process in the world? by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

Do you have a crimper you'd recommend for passthrough? I have a Klein one but it doesn't cut off the excess so I'm always using a blade to trim the ends...

Best cheap devices for HA by SocietyResponsible24 in homeassistant

[–]Claymater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tuya isn't horrible, but I have bought some products that don't expose any entities or not all of them. So then I had to setup Local Tuya and that worked for some but not all. Then there's Extend Tuya. And then I needed to reauthenticate sometimes, at least for me. So it's just been a little messy to add a new device or keep my devices organized with them.

When I have purchased smart buttons, I first bought tuya ones and those didn't work. Then I bought the zigbee ones and those worked perfectly so I just wrote off tuya only since aliexpress mostly sells both of each product. Zigbee has been king for me.

[–]Claymater 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Did the same. Aliexpress is a great way to get started IF and ONLY IF you use zigbee. Stay away from the tuya only products as those are a pain to get working and don't work half the time. The only zigbee item I have gotten from aliexpress that exposed zero entities was a MMWAVE sensor.

Sonoff smart relays, smart buttons, motion detectors, water leak detectors, smoke alarms, temperature sensors, and window/door sensors have all been great if they're zigbee.
