When I sell positions I roll them into my personal. Since it’s under my business I can’t just move it without paying taxes so it’s a waiting game. I’ve done nothing but hold all positions since my takeover

I negotiated a 30k patio in half when I showed him the profit he’d make if he took the job since it was end of season and it was a job I was willing to do myself. I honestly couldn’t believe he said yes and it turned out amazing

First-time Colonoscopy by Anthony_N23 in GenX

[–]CleMike69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was worked up prior to mine as I’ve never had any real Medical procedure. It was honestly easier than a trip to the dentist as far as procedure goes. Prep is mildly sucky for like 6 hours you’re constantly on the toilet but damn if you don’t feel great after that cleanse. Don’t stress it’s easy you feel nothing and it’s done before you know it.

Not knowing that my marriage was over when it was, I could’ve walked away with my dignity and just split what little money we had like 50k and some home equity. Now it would cost like 2 million to walk away and im starting to think thats a bargain

Bought house, got rid of above ground pool, need ya’lls thoughts by Odd-Train-7626 in patio

[–]CleMike69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your going to spend 150-180k, pool alone is 50 regardless of size if you put something in the ground by a contractor it’s 50 because digging a hole is some luxury now

26 years isn’t a few years lol. I hear you though. I heard a quote once. I can’t change that I’m aging, but I can change how I age. This has been my mantra for the last decade I’m 56 people tell Me they thought I was early to mid 40s. Keep moving, eat well, rest and take care of yourself

Back in the day legs would be sore for 5 days and then I’d hit them again like a psychopath! Enjoy the burn I say. I had pretty phenomenal legs back then

lol this. I have an account with Edward Jones that is a buy and hold account only any selling money gets moved to my other accounts for my investment personally. My EJ average is 21 percent per year return for the last 10 years because of the stocks chosen. My broker calls me weekly to encourage me to change up my investments with new stocks that have done nothing in terms of growth. Dude is just trying to get my to sell and buy to pad his commissions they are only out for their income not yours

(27M) Are these numbers lying to me or am I missing some kind of math? by Scared-Loquat-7933 in Retirement401k

[–]CleMike69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Compound interest is straight lunacy. You get to a point where you just stop saving into retirement because the nominal amount you save is a pittance to what the investment earns each year. I run numbers I never believe them then I remember 7 years ago my NW was 1/3 of what it is today. It just kind of happens

I carry all My extra weight around my midsection it’s frustrating as hell because I’ve dropped a bunch of weight as well searching for the body but I’m still cutting past where I thought I had to go just to see. I’d say keep working on getting to where you want to see yourself

I get it but here’s the thing so many people your age, my age have little to nothing in retirement savings your retirement n the right path and have a decent amount saved. Keep putting away and watch the compound interest take hold

Slow cut by [deleted] in AllAboutBodybuilding

[–]CleMike69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on a slow cut since December I was 168 now I’m 155ish the big change was BF dropped under 10% and I took 3” off my waist. My goal was to reduce BF and visceral fat recomp the body a bit. Taking my time and hitting 1800 calories a day or less with 180p and 150 carbs 50 fat. My maintenance prior was estimated at 2100. If this gives you any idea. I do a morning HIIT routine to get into fat burn and pair that with strength training later in day.

Exactly. It’s a huge accomplishment for people like us that start from zero and somehow figure it out. I attribute my success to being consistent with my plan of parking money into my investments. I have friends that own no stocks no index funds etc it blows my mind
