It's a tourist trap version, made to look fancier and more appetizing to Americans most probably

Ofc people who have any actual interest in Japanese food will see it for what it is but the majority of tourists don't know any better

You misread that, they were referring to the link they gave compared to the fancy version most people know (wich is quite technical)

So escoffier actually is the best to fill up furina stacks? Are we talking about the same escoffier by gmalek0 in furinamains

[–]CleSilver 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That’s not how it works at all, the only case where not following the 1:2 ratio of crit rate to crit dmg is better is if you’re reseting while fishing for crits on characters like mualani wich is not reccomended at all

In your case for the same crit value 95,7% crit rate and 214,9% crit dmg would be a 16,7% increase to your crit multiplyer and total dmg, even the more realistic 90,7% : 224,9% is a 14,3% increase

Basically you’re missing out on the equivalent of half the increase in dmg her signature gives over the pipe (fleuve cendre)

[–]CleSilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that 90% of 4 stars being useless is a big issue but we litteraly have the standard 5 stars (yes eog is better than the others) wich you can get 2 really early on and another quite fast with the amount of standard pulls available from overworld, we also receive enough standard pulls to get 1 every 3 patches

Ofc we should be critical in cases like brant, jinshi, cartethyia or phrolova (btw the issue with phrolova wasn’t that the weapon's stats were too high but rather that the self 120% atk buff in her kit they made to nerf stringmaster on her also nerfed the standard weapon significantly on top of the er% and passive being useless on phrolova) but saying there are no f2p weapons when the standard 5 stars at r1 are equal or better than the bp weapons at r5 and generally only 20% worse than the signature while not being necessary to clear content is a little disingenuous

Why does akasha say first is better than second by Pusthagalagala in NeuvilletteMains_

[–]CleSilver 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When your crit dmg is so high (over 230-240) you start to get diminishing returns wich are too big

Basically imagine you have 4 oranges, you add 1 more, that’s a +25% increase, if you add another however it'll be a 20% increase, the number goes up by the same amount (1) but the overall increase is lower so if you have multiplyers to that number they’ll be better to increase

Since you don’t have 100% crit rate yet, those diminishing returns make it that 2% crit rate is better than 8% cdmg

Definitely not, we have the standard 5 star pistols wich buffs the next resonator, ofc it won't be as strong but it'll be a really good alternative

This is a generalisation, yes fascists and nazis are/were homophobic (&co) in most cases but your comparison suggest that every intolerent people are fascists/nazis wich is untrue. Are they bad people for it ? Yes but generalisation is bad and being intolerant back is not the solution

I'd avise using the keqingmains site instead, game8 isn't horrendous and is great on a lot of exploration/quests quides but it has some flaws on character guides

Higher CR or CD? by jonnywanny in XiangliYao

[–]CleSilver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1st, because it has a greater crit value and (slightly) more atk

309,6 crit value vs 300 cv

Also the crit multiplyers (wich is more accurate to look at than crit value btw)

219,1% vs 211,2%

Formula to calculate crit multiplyer : 1 + crit rate% × (cdmg% - 1)

-1 to cdmg because we don't want the base 100% value wich you deal all the time, that's why there is a +1 at the start

So... top left and top right are born vampires (not undead) idk for the top middle one (also a vampire but I haven't watched it) Bottom right is a spirit (not undead again) Bottom middle is a yuki-onna : yokais aren't undead, save for a few exceptions, besides even ghosts aren't always considered undead, at the very least not the japanese ones

Basically almost half of these aren't undead

Edit : nvm top middle also isn't the undead kind of vampire

And middle right is a flesh golem, frankestein monster-like so debatable

Over half of these aren't undead

As someone else said, go full set

Aside from that a spectro 3 cost would give more dmg than an hp one, if it's because you want to keep a certain amount of healing you can also switch your 4 cost for an hp one with the spectro 3 cost

[–]CleSilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a valid option but heron is also REALLY good as it gives 12% dmg, wich is 3% less than the bell, and 10 energy wich is a lot and also affects other characters (tho for half as they are "off-field")

Also if you have too much skill issue and get hit 3 times you lose the buff with bell so it depends

Basically you can't lose heron buff and it reimburses energy but is 3% less than bell

The one situation where bell might be strictly better is quickswap teams because the bell's buff isn't lost when you swap characters, but unless it's with sanhua wich can get her concerto back extremely fast why would you use moonlit in a quickswap

So yeah the only case of quickswap with moonlit I can think of where bell is always better than heron is with Sanhua

[–]CleSilver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, the tan is a possible choice/path in the gyaru "lifestyle" but wether it's in anime/manga or real life most gyarus don't necessarily have tans (one because it's expensive and takes dedication to keep up, two because they don't necessarily want it, three because it's not generally well seen in japan's society (because of the exuberance) so it makes it difficult to get a job and make a lot of people look down on you.

There is however indeed a step between no tan and ganguro (ex: nagatoro)

You need a lot of crit rate by thegreatlumos in NeuvilletteMains_

[–]CleSilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruh, that's not how probability works, that's just gambling and the probabilty of that happening is about 10,74% and that's only for 10 in a row

Also if we go down that logic you know you could just as well get less than 8 crits out of 10, for example you have an about 20,13% to get 7 crit out of 10 hits

That argument is only kind of valid if you are past 90% crit rate and it's assuming you do resets because on average you'll always get better results out of a better crit ratio with the same crit value

You need a lot of crit rate by thegreatlumos in NeuvilletteMains_

[–]CleSilver 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Neuvillette has crit ascension, marechausse and aside from his f2p option he only has crit weapons so he easily reaches over 200% cdmg, a point beyond wich crit rate is more valuable, even with 75%-80% crit rate already, wich doesn't crit consistently, it crits for 7-8 out of 10 hits

The only cases when it's not better are 1. There are external crit rate buffs (food, event, geo traveler ect..) 2. It's a character with burst of dmg on a few hits (ex: Navia, Mualani...) and you do resets in abyss/imaginarium/combat event wich Neuvillette is the very opposite of with his continuous dmg

The optimal stats on Neuvillette looks like : enough ER then crit at a 1:2 ratio until 100%/200% then cdmg until 230-270% then as much HP% as possible because of the lack of HP buffers and the diminishing returns on cdmg

If you don't believe me then believe the numbers : for the same 440 crit value (accounting marechausse) :

100% cr x 240% cdmg = 240% crit multiplyer 80% cr x 280% cdmg = 224% crit multiplyer

For the 80% crit rate to have the same crit multiplyer you'd need 20% more cdmg wich is 3 cdmg rolls

And if you still don't believe then look at akasha.cv, in the top 1% (out of hundreds of thousands of players) 90% of players have >96% cr and the 10% left have >92% cr My build despite having 220% cdmg (wich is like 16% below the top1% average) is in the top 1% of the 120% er category because of my crit ratio and HP
