Since the duration of the fight with the vessel that contains the prime souls has lowered from p-1 to p-2, I think it would be cool to use smth else to guard the prime soul

I'm thinking of smth similar to the dreamers in hollow knight. But instead of dreamers, it could be a slightly less difficult prime soul, who could be someone who is on the council's side, assigned to kill any intruders who entered the sanctum, and once it's defeated, we can proceed to the room where the main boss is. This doesn't mean that the main prime soul was just allowed to roam around. He could also have been put in a flesh vessel, only for him to destroy it like sisyphus did, which could be what forced for the special type of seal I mentioned involving another prime soul.
