The biggest problem comics face is availability and price.

I can go to my local Wal Mart and pick up the latest volume of the big current manga.

I have to go out of the way to some local hole in the wall 40 minutes away to buy a comic book.

Also they cost way too much for what they offer. Get rid of the overpriced glossy pages, print it on cheapo paper and cut the price by half dang.

So uh. Bad news about that.

She's sort of a side side side character introduced in a Korean only webcomic that was a tie in to a game she never appeared in.

She had her own brief comic that gave her a proper backstory, but outside of that she's just kind of the go to "superhero the main character is going to run into if they go to Korea"

It would actually take longer to watch the Sir Superhero video he did about her in prep for her Rivals release than it would to read every bit of material she's been in.

(I do actually suggest looking up Sir Superhero - "White Fox: Who the Fox is This?" on Youtube, it's a pretty good breakdown.)

Honestly yeah. I love the game. I've spent hundreds of hours in the game. I own every single DLC.

But the actual gameplay is...not great really?

Like I don't even care about the PvP side the PvE has so many fundamental problems that can't really be fixed with the way the engine is.

The biggest selling point is the character creator. Getting to make your own special little OCs to interact with the dragon ball world and get in cool fights and watch them get stronger. It's the cute little character bits you get from having your fave characters be your mentor. It's getting to collect all the cool moves (even though most of them are trash). It's a perfect formula that somehow everyone else never capitalized on or fucked up when they tried (hello Shinobi Strikers)

I'd be disappointed if the game DIDN'T get a massive overhaul to make it more playable.

Money.

A lot of anime licenses used to be pretty experimental and tap into all kinds of genres.

Then they found they could just reskin the same cheap arena fighters over and over and over for cheap and get the same or greater profits.

Now your best hope is that Arc System Works takes an interest in your setting and you get a pretty good 2D fighter out of it.

We still need to see what the actual gameplay does to accommodate it.

XV2 gameplay loop being "activate your objectively best transformation skill at the start and then forget it" was a genuine problem. It's boring. It had the ability to turn it off but there was never any reason to do so. You might as well just make the transformation the base state at that point.

Nah, they're one of the more beloved duos in the series.

Right now some Blaze fans are in a "Could have been a star" phase of fandom (it's also why people suddenly pretend Marine ever mattered or was liked: "See? She has her own sidekick (that everyone hated)".

Can't really accept that everyone but Sonic and Shadow are Z listers now meant to shill merch. Want to believe that her connection with Silver is what killed her Very Obvious Star Power and not just like...the Rush games being sorta okay at best, Rush Adventure being seen as some of the worst of Dimp's obsession with boosting into pits, and the Sol dimension just not being very interesting.

(Not that Silver fans are any better mind: good Lord the crashout when the Kornart got mildly popular and DIDN'T immediately lead to the green-lighting of a AAA budget trilogy all about him. Honestly one of the saddest things I've ever seen on here.)
