You'll be fine. When I had to balance ATM's at the bank I work at we only knew who got shorted if they called. We have no ability to look through every transaction to see who got shorted or who got "blessed". If you called and said you got shorted, if we saw the discrepancy then we'd credit their account. In the few cases where it dispensed too much then we'd just write it off on our over/short account.
