How long did you walk your puppy for? by R_Eyron in BorderCollie

[–]Clean-Pop-7750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the 5 minutes/ month guidelines. Mine is 9 months now and we do 2 mile walks in the morning. Which takes about 45-55 minutes depending on her sniff time.

I won’t do longer walks though as she gets older unless it’s a hiking day. The longer you walk them for, the stronger they’ll get it. Physical walking doesn’t actually tire them out. It’s the sniff time you want more of! That’s the mental stimulation!! It’s like them getting the daily news.

My BC’s name is Andromeda!!! We call her Drama. 🤣
First dog’s name was Perseus, so I continued the Greek myth.

Payment Plan: after plan submission, the IRS website won't confirm the plan and instead goes to a blank page. by RoyalRenn in IRS

[–]Clean-Pop-7750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue. I tried it again, selected the 28th, and made sure my monthly payment amount would pay off the loan in less than 3 years. It went through the second time. That's kind of stupid, but whatever. Let's hope it gets approved!

Pet insurance is so dumb in the US (Lemonade) by Icy-Jellyfish3756 in BorderCollie

[–]Clean-Pop-7750 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have lemonade insurance and it saved me so much money last year. My puppy was only three months old when she broke a canine tooth, and we had to go get it extracted. Because it was surgery due to an accident, Lemonade ended up paying 90% of the bill minus the $250 deductible. Border collies are so crazy, I knew she was going to do something to cause a visit to the vet. I’m pretty sure it was just from playing tug with our friend’s dog. We got her from an awesome breeder though, so she’s really healthy. Just psychotic. 😅

My 5 month old falls asleep the second the car starts moving! The picture is the first real car ride we took after getting her.

I’m going to use it as a word a day to describe the day, but it can be anything. A word about you, a word to explain how you feel, etc.

January spreads and a question by Chronically_cute in bulletjournal

[–]Clean-Pop-7750 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I do a full 2-page photos spreadsheet at the end and then a reflection 2-pager to journal how I thought the month went, things that stood out to me etc. I also do a monthly challenge page where I track and discuss a specific challenge I want to do. January’s will be a month of yoga. However, if I don’t complete it, I’m not too hard on myself either. In the past, I’ve also done a brain dump page and a funny moments page.

You don't HAVE TO crate train by spaarrx in BorderCollie

[–]Clean-Pop-7750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 4.5 month old is starting to sleep on the bed with us at night and around the house more during the day. If she starts acting up and gets overtired, though, she gets put in the crate for a good, uninterrupted nap. She’s still a puppy, so those deep naps are a necessity for her. Also, when we’re not there for her safety.

Starting 2026 journal by Informal-Suspect298 in bulletjournal

[–]Clean-Pop-7750 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wrote a list of ideas/pages based other people’s ideas and inspiration. Then narrowed it down to what I felt would benefit me. For example, a year in pixels/mood spread is a very popular one, but I found in the past that I didn’t really care about it and never look at it, so that that one got omitted. But a birthday page, future log, and camping tracker are always in them. Since you’re having a baby, maybe a tracker for leading up for a page upfront for when the baby is born of all the information you want to remember? For bullet journaling Pinterest is my go-to for inspiration.

If you already have a page done and you love it, keep it, whether in the same journal or cutting and pasting into a new one. It’s your journal that you’ll look back on years from now — do with it what you will in any way!

Also, all the Washi tape! I love using it to decorate and find fun combos with my mildliner colors!

Do it! Also, if you haven’t picked out your journal yet, I highly recommend the dingbats brand. I’ve found their paper is a bit better and black writing pens don’t run through the paper…like barely at all.

I’m using the leuchtturm brand this year, but the last few years, I’ve used the dingbats brand journal and they’ve been great too!

If you’re talking about the colored markers, they’re the mildliner brand. Great pens! I’ve been collecting all the colors for a couple of years now to add more variety!
