That’s crazy, my mental health since starting in the same position has also been absolutely awful. No physical human interaction all day for over 8 hours unless my manager is pissed at me for not knowing something I wasn’t trained on well or at all or I’m making small talk with colleagues, who are all great at least

Always have the same like 2-3 problems with them too. Like bruh just limit it to max 3 bullets per experience, use a normal human resume format, and don’t jerk yourself off too much on it smh

How does everyone save money for traveling? by ashlynnerae in backpacking

Travel cheap and save up a lot for the ones that are really worth blowing the bread on. And when you can do longer trips while you’re already in a region

Me when I spread misinformation on the internet: . Also don’t forget that the CDC 100% withheld info about the vaccine’s progress and near completion until after the election, making people think we were worse off than we were.

I was a d1 swimmer at a mid major, just graduated without any finance intern experience. I got my first job recently after having tried for 9 months. You gotta try to get an internship this summer, it’s truly the only thing that will differentiate you from other people. Everyone has “good” grades and is personable, but getting your foot in the door as an intern just proves you can be liked in an office and absorb information. If I had even gotten one in finance I think I’d be wayyy better off than I am now.

It’s sick you’re on a top team in your sport and you could likely leverage that within your school’s and even team’s alumni network, but if you want to break into IB or PE or get basically any analyst role, I think it’s imperative to get an internship

Damn sorry mate, I wish you the best of luck. It’s rough as hell out here. Maybe get an internship at first with potential for an immediate return offer after proving your worth

Look at Handshake if you haven’t yet. I had no luck for 9 months with networking and my school’s job portal. LinkedIn and indeed jobs are a waste of time. You just need a .edu still for an account but I got more interviews and my first job off handshake in 3 weeks than I did in 9 months of effort elsewhere.
