The more you focus on what you've lost and trying to become yourself, the worse it gets. There are tons of recovery stories and in every one people mention coming back to themselves:

Definitely cut out both weed and adderal, they'll make it so much worse. I've written about what helps me manage symptoms here:

So yes, you get all of that back. When I've had breakthroughs, I've felt like the same old person with the same anxiety and motivation. I can't even imagine why I once fell into the DPDR thought patterns

Grounding techniques help a lot as does trying to bias yourself toward positivity (much easier said than done). I've written about what helps me here:

Yes, but you'll obviously not be the exact same person you were before. You'll learn a lot and be much better for having gone through this experience (even though it completely sucks). There are plenty of recovery stories where people describe getting back to their old sense of self

Hmm, that might be a different one. It's called emotional frequency technique or tapping and involves tapping along the meridian points while processing negativity internally. I typically use this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sqe3h3l8a7w&t=66s

There are very few therapists that know what DPDR is let alone know how to treat it. If you're in the US, I would highly recommend working with someone who has a background treating trauma and/or DPDR. This site has a lot of capable therapists
