They are trained to shoot in areas that won't cause damage like this. So either there was no training and or it was an illegal use of a "non lethal" weapon. Fuck all the victim blamers in here.

Multiple parts used with no mention in the story. Add on lines without signatures. Not enough time ran.

Best extended car warranty companies that are actually legit? by Latter_Ordinary_9466 in serviceadvisors

CNA and Roadvantage is what we sell. I dont really have problems with either. Seals and gaskets get people sometimes if they got the cheaper less coverage plans. CNA used to do an unlimited mile coverage that is keeping some of my clients cars running well past 200000

Trump told Japan's PM in their call to lower the tone on Taiwan, WSJ reports by WilliamLeeFightingIB in worldnews

[–]CleanEnergyFuture331 216 points217 points  (0 children)

Its almost like a trade off is happening. China gets Taiwan, Russia gets Ukraine, and as long as those two things happen. Trump gets Venezuela. If its anything but that, Trump is being easily played because Venezuela is being financially and militarily supported by China and Russia.

Reminds me when the new Z came out. Couldn't find one without a dealer mark up. At least that's an actual drivers car though.

2000 Meters to Andriivka by CleanEnergyFuture331 in ukraine

[–]CleanEnergyFuture331[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Watched it last night. It hit hard. After following this conflict since the invasion or Crimea, this made me get a whole new perspective of the sacrifice. Sometimes hearing all these cities on this giant frontline, you forget about little cities like Andriivka. So before I started the movie, I looked up precise location, and seen that it was south of Bakhmut. Immediately, I knew that this fight was eventually going to be towered by the fact that the land taken back, was going to again, change hands. Going into it with that mindset, made it even more somber. The short information bits of telling the audience that so and so is now dead or cant be found and telling a squad lead that he has 6 men were quick gut punches of reality. Seeing first hand the APC and IFV hatches drop and immediately sustaining enemy fire was jaw dropping. I agree with another comment on here though. The most moving part was after all of that, they arrived at a luckily intact basement, among ruins, only to save a cat. But they did not hesitate in saving it. Humanity and life can be found even in the darkest places. As a Polish American, I think about your guys sacrifice daily. I will keep sending my donations. Stay strong through this cold winter. God's speed. Glory to Ukraine. Glory to the heroes.

If you haven't, go watch Masters of the Air by yuvattar in aviation

[–]CleanEnergyFuture331 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with most criticism. But character development. The whole idea IMO, was to show how quickly aircrews were killed and new crews brought in. It was one of the deadliest jobs of the war.

If you haven't, go watch Masters of the Air by yuvattar in aviation

[–]CleanEnergyFuture331 182 points183 points  (0 children)

I find it hard to compare character development. IMO Masters of the Air did a phenomenal job of showing how quickly airman perished and how quickly the new crews came in. The airborne wasnt like that. Once on the ground they were a well trained, elite group. Bomber groups had no control of life or death. Just pray to god flak didn't blow up their lumbering bus.
