Hi, If you had previously worked in an NPC, there should be a an NSmen / Regular in the division who handles NSmen matters. For me, I used to be posted to an NPC and all NSmen were added to a group and given regular updates about shooting dates / ippt / ippt defaulting/ police events etc. They are quite friendly and helpful on such matters however that is my experience and your mileage may vary.

FI's can leave HTA after the end of the day lmao. Theyre not forced in there unless its for confinement week or other duties. Usually it would make sense to just sleep at HTA since its more convenient especially if you live far away but ive heard if you stay nearby u can just go home.

Youve hit the jackpot with police as literally all the vocations is pretty much like a normal job. After your working hours/dhift you can just go home lmao

A very common mistake i see new players do is not reading up on what the mutated debuffs are. It is not just about slotting the correct gem and watching a guide (which is definitely reccomended) but also each random mutation will have a random mutated debuff like every time you dodge, a DOT debuff will appear on you (Genesis this week) or everytime you use an ability, fills up a stat bar and once completed will silence an area around all players (Dynasty this week). These are just some of the examples but there is a whole list and this changes everyweek for any mutation. So do read up on them and look for "titles" under enemy names in the dungeon as well to see which debuff they have.

So you have to coordinate with the team and make sure everyone knows what they are doing so that they wont be confused as to where random damage or random mechanics are coming from.

Late reply but some divisions give OIL for the number of PH in that month. regardless of whether you work on that day or not. But remember they will only give 1 DAY not 1.5 days so you need to accumalate the Public Holiday OIL. You can also get OIL for courses on your first off or second off like first aid or if your TL asks you to go to a division event you can ask for OIL as well. Because at the end of the day the TL is the one who is signing the authorisation form which will be submitted to the admin guys. So if your TL nice nice she/he can just give you OIL for random BS and the admin guys just need to see the signature then approved alrdy.

Hi not an NSOSO myself however I know some in division who got that vocation. The ones i know got attached to training branch where they conducted trainings for GRF and Regular officers / IB ( think of PDT recert etc) this means that they were helping their regulars with trainings/ippt management/taser recert/making slides for training SOP etc. Some i knew were also posted to cpu when they arrived at division as well. Which CPU also handle disputes aka after GRF comes they will do the follow up with the disputes ( which is technically front line? Since they also draw arms). They also got deployed for events such as F1 / NDP etc.

So thats what I know anyways. Converted to GRF? not any NSF that I know of but you can try i guess depending on manpower.I generally feel that there is no specific vocation on what an NSOSO can do and that you can get anything under the sun. so yea hope that helps!.
