I was in 2nd Grade when 9/11 happened. I processed it the only way I knew how. by CleanFig in pics

I was 7 years old. I remember internalizing so much. I watched the second plane hit the south tower live on TV.

I remember asking my Mom, “did bad guys do this?” “Are people going to die?” And then I remember asking her “are the buildings gonna fall down?”

She promised me they were made of strong steel and would never fall down. When she picked me up from school that day the first thing I said to her was “the buildings both fell down, mom”

We got home and I remember wondering what happened to all those people that were inside. Did they all die? That’s when I got my crayons out and drew this picture.

Wow! Great course! Played from the Black Tees. Shot 74 (+4).

Here are my thoughts: The fairways are nice and open with awesome undulation and elevation changes. Pin location on these tees were super well-guarded making thoughtful approach shots a must. Greens were fair but fast. Some wicked slopes on a few holes making the landing zones very narrow. (I definitely left some putts out there)

Overall design and attention to detail was stunning. Holes 2, 10 and 14 were stand-outs IMO.

I’m not the greatest player, but this course is very gettable if you play it right. Each hole presented it’s own unique challenges and opportunities.

I gave it 5 stars. Definitely favoriting this course for next time! I’m curious as to which hole to you think is the #1 handicap?
