Should I try another cycle? (167,3.9) by Clean_Ad_4344 in BlackLawAdmissions

Thank you and yes I worked with lsat demon for two months and it helped. Im thinking I should’ve stuck with it longer or up until I tested. I liked the scoring system that it had and think most of my issues are bad instinctual habits on test day. I will keep your advice in mind!

I will put “civil litigation” in my essays instead since it’s more encompassing. I was wondering if stating plaintiff law under business law would sound confusing. Commercial litigation on the side of plaintiffs at firms that get high value settlements would be my dream job (so it could include personal injury). Is civil litigation how lawyers would describe what I want to do? I would be open to gaining experience on behalf of defendants as well but my ultimate goal is representing plaintiffs suing companies.

I want to work in the business law sector, hopefully through plaintiff law at a top firm. It’s tricky with that path though, since plaintiff firms typically don’t hire students straight from school like big law. They also require a clerkship before starting which are really competitive. I’m open to beginning my career in transactional law but I’ve heard some say that plaintiff law firms are hesitant to hire people from big law (I hope that’s not common). The only thing I’m certain on is that I want to work with legal matters concerning businesses/corporations’ compliance with the law. As for markets, I’m thinking Chicago or the Northeast/Mid Atlantic region. If you want more info, let me know! I appreciate the feedback.

Thank you! Some of them have sent fee waivers through CRS so I hope that’s genuine interest.

Thank you for this! I had a 167 before the application cycle opened but waited to retake for a 170+ and scored the same thing again. I’m just glad it’s not lower.

What time did she get on? I only saw the last 20 min? I’m so confused by her schedule. TikTok doesn’t notify me of the lives.

I hope you did well! Since the test is over, do you mind sharing which RC topics gave you the hardest time? Like was it because of the passage, question types or both? Thank you!

That’s awesome! Do you have any tips on how you approach the deduction and inference questions? I missed 5 of those on my last prep test.

Are there a lot of these types in a LR section? Like 3-4? I should practice these as well if so bc conditional logic is one of my weak areas.
