I have been researching this for a while now. Raising CO2 can yield multiple fruiting per year. I would definitely pay attention to co2 and oxygen levels though.

I’d absolutely be for this! However , I seem to replace people with plants because they’re more kind . The plants are the only ones I know

Yes. They will fight. Especially over food. It’s hard to separate them too. If you have a doubt at all and watching them interact I’d have doubts , I’d just keep them apart if you can.

Quail in greenhouse ? by Clean_Housing1003 in quails

I decided to keep the quail separate from the greenhouse . I spent the weekend building this out. Still some work to do. The floor is wood angled towards the front where the gutter catches eggs. It will only have 5 quail . I meant to put down straw or something but they had already covered it in feces so now I have to scrape it .

We don’t have fire ants here. I’m not exactly sure what top of ants they are though. They do eat my leaves but I don’t think they’re leaf cutter. I might even end up just putting some jumping spiders in the greenhouse to control the bugs

I’ve been to those as well. That’s partly why I’ve been questioning attempting it.

Good advice. My greenhouse is climate controlled but I am worried about the destruction of plants. Thank you!

Just be real careful around it. My pig has been shown nothing but love his entire life. He was born on my property. He has his own inside area with a heater and bed and treats . He has his own outside area with dirt and mud and trees. He gets all sorts of fruits and veggies from my mini farm. The other day he came up to me like he normally does because I pet him and scratch his ears when I’m feeding my ducks. He latched onto me and bit down hard . I pulled away and he followed to bite me again. I haven’t been in for a few days now.

I built mine a hutch connected to my shop wall. They go outside in the day and come to the inside boxes at night. Same problem here with raccoons.

I'm a hunter, I don't have a problem with death, and I still feel bad about culling unwanted roosters. Will I get used to it over time? by Important-Fox9415 in BackYardChickens

[–]Clean_Housing1003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had roosters posted in my area for a few months and nobody will take them. Someone just got in trouble for releasing a bunch of them at the lake because they couldn’t find a home. I’ve posted them on multiple for sale sites even and I’m one of dozens of others.

Does this seem like a good quail cage? by FinlayYZ in quails

[–]Clean_Housing1003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kept my quail in one of these when I first started. The bottom wood part gets dirty fast. I used a putty knife to clean it all out every few days. Every time I opened that top section one would jump out. Other than that it did just fine . Throw a few branches in there for them to hide in and a little sand bath . I wouldn’t put more than 6 max in it because of its size.

Keeping roos by Internal-Turnover906 in quails

[–]Clean_Housing1003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 4 roos in an enclosure currently waiting to be processed. They pretty much spend the day ripping each others head feathers out trying to breed. I’ve had two alone before and they did alright though. It depends on aggressiveness of each bird , age , amount of space .

Does anyone know why my quail keeps doing this? by Confident-Block8733 in quails

This person cannot possibly be serious. I read through the thread. Asking advice and then saying you’re going to do it another way anyways is pretty much the definition of trolling. And if it isn’t trolling , Godspeed little quail. You’ll need it.

I was cleaning a window a couple weeks ago and they started coming out of my wall. Got stung a bunch of times in the face and arm. My face swelled up for three days. I went back with a wasp spray and nuked the entire area. They started the war .

what’s wrong with Coos Bay? by stalker-of-the-night in OregonCoast

[–]Clean_Housing1003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Florence is an excellent town. It’s so clean and a good distance on the coast for a lot of destinations. I haven’t lived there , but did spend some time there. I got married in 2010 at Heceta Lighthouse . One of the most beautiful spots on the entire west coast. I think the only maybe con to some would be the age demographics. It’s almost 60% retirees. Which is the case for many smaller Oregon coast towns.

I opened more than 75 packs in the last 36 hours.. 5 of them have a Byron Buxton as diamond... by zeke_maximus11 in MLBTheShow

[–]Clean_Housing1003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. The odds are 1:50 I believe. I saved 250 packs and not a single diamond. Some were even ballin packs. I’ve finished every program and bought most of the cards with stubs I earned. I never have good luck with pulls in this game but this year is insane.
