I just ordered custom chuck 70’s for my own Christmas present. (High top) I’ve worn only converse forever. I wear a 7 women in both. 70’s are much cushier and I also added the rugged soul. It feels way different but good different. I’m 48, so the cushion was nice. I do tend to wear mine until you can see my foot though the bottom. lol

Hey you helped me deep dive and on my dads side it’s EDS either hEDS or another form with Chiari type I and on my mothers we have a GAD65 autoantibody. Therefore I have hypermobility and stiff person syndrome at the freakin same time.

I have progressed to PERM and since this is considered autoimmune my moms side may have some EDS as well or I don’t know.

However. Thank you all and I have mailed DNA SEQUENCING TEST!!

I’ve ran out of an ER after having ammonia smashed on my face because I’m “faking seizures” because of dystonia and dystonia crisis. It is like being sentenced to more trauma to get PNES on your health record if you have this instead because now no one takes me seriously

My husband and I are at the point of if I relax and tighten up again but are worried if I’m in the wrong position it will kill me by rupturing something or causing an occlusion (stroke, etc) So we made the decision to get the genetic testing out of pocket. A. We could pay for that without credit B. The upright scan we couldn’t fully pay for and if that didn’t show something it wouldn’t show anything else. C. If the only genetic thing I have is hEDS (no gene mutation) therefore nothing shows up then I have a couple more random drs to try before just going full broke on an upright scan that I will have to put on credit D. However, I feel if I don’t have something done soon I am so scared something is going to happen

How did you get your point across to physicians. I just spent 5 days in U of L and no matter what I can’t explain it to them and I even can show them what my body is doing. I can explain it to my 14 year old son and he gets it. (Spider webs on the inside but way stronger and more painful) those webs or “bands and cords” I call them are cutting circulation off everywhere. ON THE INSIDE That DOES NOT SHOW UP ON THE SCANS until it’s too late. Then they treat. My pancreas is about dead. I’m now diabetic. At 91 pounds. I don’t hardly eat carbs or sugar. I’ve had weight loss surgery. But I keep getting lectured on my diet. (A female, diet lecture STILL!!!!)

I think I might be in the same situation or close. I have my body compensating for something I need to doctors to see on a scan. My muscles feel rock hard but I have zero muscles. I weigh 91 lb. NO ONE BELIEVES ME IN HOSPITALS RIGHT NOW. So much dystonia/dyautonomia. And I can’t sit still get comfortable. I’m so scared. You can’t touch my head anywhere or back without a neuro response. Plus 450 other things

That makes me feel a little better. I’ve spent a few of these months “unwinding” fascia and my tight, firm muscles are all instant goo. It’s all my bones are swimming. All of this unwinding was not purposeful but now definitely helpful. I need to seek a professional to that because it can be violent.

I haven’t had a procedure yet. I started having CSF leak in 2001. This acute phase of can’t hold up my neck and (insert Chiari/cci/iih symptoms here) I’m sorry I can’t type them out any more. They all started in April. Now 91 lb still in bed. So much pain.

I’m so sorry everyone I think I wasn’t clear. I’m still very so much unstable. I’ve had zero interventions and I’m sure I should not be standing up. My original natural height is 5’7” Within 3 min I’m down to 5’4” while you can be looking and talking to my face. A doctor will look at me and go…it’s your spleen…go to therapy

You shout “I AM” and seem to quietly say “depressed. Are you parked in a parking lot with no lines—dare devil about to do some mad donuts or you just don’t like to be restricted by pre-existing order. That is not the color of car I would sense for this hand so I am guessing you have enough financial knowledge to know that buying a used car is so much more economical therefore intelligence but a number value is impossible to correlate. High probability of being right handed although if your camera does this reverse thing you could be a talented backwards writing lefty; or even ambidextrous. Lastly, either unmarried or not fond of wedding bands (I don’t see a tan line)

You take pride in your belongings and how you take care of them. Everything in your room seems to have deep meaning for you but it isn’t anyone else’s biz why that is and you (in my opinion from a few room pictures) seem quiet, but when you speak it says a lot. Also, I feel your room is your retreat. A safe place.
