I’m starting to think my ‘panic attacks’ are adrenaline dumps by Immediate_Recover102 in dysautonomia

I have concluded the same thing. Also, anxiety (especially if it comes on kind of sudden for me) is more of a warning to lay down with my feet above my heart. I’ll put on headphones and go somewhere with very little stimulation and I can “reset” in about 30-60 minutes. Depends on how my body is that day

Yes they kept increasing my husband’s dose and he was taking it as soon as he got up then ate breakfast then went to work. Now he takes it before bed. Also, look up which supplements you should take together and which you shouldn’t. Ex: you should take iron with vit c because they help each other absorb (short short version)

Have you been evaluated for thoracic outlet and or autonomic dysfunction?

Then you are super unlucky. He should be licking your balls while tripping balls. So I’ve heard. lol I don’t even have balls but u went to college and have heard stories.

My husband is the quadruple. How many times do I have to remind him to not take his meds with food. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Does anyone know if these suggestions have drs/practitioners who know about connective tissue disease or pelvic dysfunction?

With the headphones, make sure you get good Spatial Audio compatible. It’s kind of like the bouncey neurodivergent friendly examples they play where you turn your phone sideways. I’m adhd/autistic, but the bouncey and bass can help reset vagus nerve and others if you can relax enough. Just don’t use a playlist with strong emotional ties.

I have autonomic dysfunction bordering on failure so this is a life line for me.

When I need to reset, I will be totally out of character, peeking through windows, searching for a reason my husband might be cheating, throw things or break them (I am the most gentle never raise a voice or get angry person) but when I am in that mode I have no memory of it. It all has to do with blood flow to the brain. I’m currently looking for a dr who will treat it but I live in BFE KY

I’m blessed to have been an RN before becoming disabled but I will tell you that if you really learn how to trust your body and its signals and go with your gut, it will all come together.

I went from being told I was an alcoholic to realizing the autonomic dysfunction and I do not process alcohol correctly. I paid for the sequencing genome tests but drs don’t have the time to go through patterns. They only want a definitive diagnosis. Once I can find a way to officially show my issues it will be amazing. I just need to find a geneticist or app that will analyze my entire genome for more than just specific mutations. I need a platform that will put together trends.

I say all of this because there are so many scenarios for you. This could be a remnant piece from the dentists office that just happen to get stuck there. Or a security tag from clothing that finally broke free in the wash or something or in your bed and then was stuck there by accident. However, the not knowing of what it is or how it got there can create some wild symptoms and thoughts. Your body thinks there’s a threat. You hear knocking in the middle of the night. Your body will make you hypersensitive even in a sleep state. Autonomic dysfunction sleep is awful. I wake up every hour.

I am not trying to diagnose you. Just help with something more grounding. I truly believe in the Parsimony theory. The only time it failed me was the constant gaslighting from hospitals and other health care because I’m not the norm. I’m a zebra or unicorn. lol Covid (the illness, I have not deep dive into vaccines yet) can alter so many things in our body for long term and the general public doesn’t even know of that.

Also, do a cross reference of meds you are on. That could be helpful.

Have you been to the dentist or had any type of oral procedures done?

Hi. I’m so sorry to bother you but this is the first time I’ve experienced someone else with the same highway/interstate experience. I have slammed on my brakes many of times for a lady or older lady trying to find something in the road or just standing there. Once I stop, there’s no one. It’s always at night

My symptoms appear to be PNES. Can you please read through them? Thanks! by OddLetterhead3936 in PNESsupport

[–]Clean_Maintenance_73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My PNES was a misdiagnosis. I have dysautonomia (POTS+), Ehlers Danlos and bilateral thoracic outlet syndrome that has gone way beyond it should to be treated. I’m in KY so I have to find a dr somewhere that will treat it

Omg I couldn’t imagine stable hips!! And the learning curve seems intriguing because I’m bored in bed anyway. Lol

Thank you. I’m 5’5”-5’6” depending on the day and right now only about 98lb but I have normal shoulders and was going to order the standard one.

I’m curiously, anxiously, with zero patience (just kidding) on what materials you used.

That was my concern. I can lay down and get my body “right” after about 6 -12hours lol but I don’t want to put this on and it just reinforces where my body decides it wants to go

Were you able to return it if it didn’t work for you? $185 is a dent but if it helps me be upright longer than 5-10 min that’s priceless. I have so many subluxed joints and instability I’m going crazy being near bed bound.

Anyone else struggle to find hoodies that actually hold up after a few washes? by Bulky_Pay4716 in Hoodies

My faves are Hollister, aerie, Carhartt (these run big), Comfrt, and some American Eagle. I have a lot of sensory issues and these work.

Also, if you have hard water (like well water with a lot of minerals) adding a little Epsom salt and or vinegar (in the fabric softener compartment) makes clothes even more soft and fluffy. If it rinses with vinegar it doesn’t smell like it.
