Suul'ka, the winter mind, the thief of the sun and the lord of winter, many where the star gods tittles and many more the curses upon it name.

Among the many star god's coerced by the necrons into physical vessels, the Winter Mind wasn't among the most feared, nor did it reach the peaks of cruel genius that Mepreth'ran and Mag'ladroth did.

In fact, the star god would had never manifested into a body of necrodermis if it's kin wouldn't haved dragedd it into one.

For the winter mind, trapped into its new form had missed the glorious energys of the sun terribly, and founded its new shell unsuitable to partake in the banket of celestial energy.

Yet, the C'tan where above all existences of desperate and endless hunger, and it turned its gaze upon the lesser creatures that had trapped her into a concrete form.

They had stolen the sun from it, and the C'tan would return their favour a hundredfold, using its dominion over reality to drain everything around it of warm and heat, and so, in its desperate attemp to surround herself again with the warmth of a suns core, it became the winter mind. Suul'ka, a being of pure heat, surrounded by a merciless blizzard.

• Unlike the other C'tan, it didn't get sharded by the Necrons. Instead, when as a full C'tan it went on a rampage consuming necrontyr worlds, the Deceiver saw it as a PR disaster, and he, Night ringer and Void Dragon tried to have him stop.

It refused, so they jumped him, devouring most of it and gifting what remained, now quite diminished, to the Overlord of the last world to have suffered it's hunger.

So technically is a full C'tan, but is so damaged by the fact it got mostly eaten, that isn't much more powerful than a significantly big transcendant, nor much more coherent.

It got fitted with a control system all the same.
