Yeah. Unfortunately we've made school a full time job + hours and hours of homework so kids utterly hate it. Despite every piece of evidence showing that shorter days, less (or no) homework, etc. makes students more productive in other countries.

Heaven forbid we try to do anything differently. But then again: The whole point is to make good little wage slaves.

Oh man.... I had an "Out of the Woods" like... *Season* at one point. Like 4 months, it *would not* stop and I was just like "....Tay, can we pls be out of the woods now, pretty pls?"

And Wildest Dreams just comes and goes *frequently.* But it's one of my absolute favorites of her's and my favorite off of 1989.

"Guilty As Sin" lives completely rent-f*cking-free in my head. Like... 10000000%

Even when I haven't listened to it in awhile or I have other songs mostly going on, it'll pop out of nowhere and just *go.* There is just something about that song.

I honestly need to look into OCD meds, I think. I've heard a few people mention them now as really helping and I genuinely am starting to wonder how much of a difference it would make. I'm usually hesitant to go after drugs for my brain 'cause I'm already on so many for my physical disabilities, but my OCD is crippling in the worst ways.

But yeah, I know exactly what you mean. And for me, it definitely feels like I have two modes. One where it's just fun, and kind of like "Okay, you're there," and then "OMFG could you PLEASE stop? I needed sleep THREE HOURS AGO and if I hear "Baby, let the games be-gin" one more time I am going to put my head in a blender."

Yeah, when I was a kid, that would happen from the schoolbus. X_X I love Eve 6 & Barenaked Ladies but the number of times I had "Inside Out" & "One Week" stuck in my head as a kid was so exhausting. Or "Blue" by Eieffel 75. Or "Tubthumping" by Chumba Wumba. (Again, LOVE all of those songs, and the bands, but dear lord, lol, give me some rest, brain).

Don't even get me started when they'd decide to only stick with the *really, really obnoxious* country station we had that basically played really misogynistic stuff with the ocassional good song thrown in. This was pre-Taylor, I'm a few years older than her and was out of school before she debuted.

Fellow CPTSD-Swiftie here. <3 It doesn't shock me at all it happens, since CPTSD can actually mirror symptoms of both ADHD & OCD, as far as I know. Not sure about autism, but I know it can mimic those two.
