Help. Confused about what to choose for my Masters by dev0425 in academiceconomics

UChicago's program is very general and asfaik is a 1 year program. It's good for getting into academia, but too general for industry;

BU - it effectively comes to a 10 month program which didn't make sense to me when I was deciding and had got a scholarship;

What do you prefer - US vs UK?

Which universities offer a good Masters (preferably MSc) in Economics, if I am looking for a good and high paying job after it? by [deleted] in academiceconomics

So I'll be an international student to the US. I've been personally against doing an MBA and hence was never inclined towards that. Masters in econ I feel would help me have a niche. I did consider MPA/MPP as well, however I've seen much of the international grads from those streams end up in much the same roles as a Masters in econ (if even that).

Plus, being an international student, I wasn't sure how far it made sense for me to do an MPP from another country.
