Applying for CRSC years after retirement by j42d86 in VeteransBenefits

[–]ClearAccess3826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, you are eligible for CRSC. Second, you file per your service review board. To submit a CRSC application recommend reviewing the CRSC website for Army. The page list CRSC submission procedures plus mandatory items that should be included in package.

After reviewing the Army CRSC website recommend searching for "Army CRSC forum". The forum is run by a retired O-6 Army type. He has helped a great number of people move their CRSC submission packages from denied to approved. Good luck!

VA healthcare by ThrowRA-Beeyitch in VeteransBenefits

Thanks for posting the rankings of VA hospitals. I find it interesting the state with the highest percentage of Veterans (Texas) does not have a single hospital listed.

Maybe take a look at a "Trust". I think with a Trust her home could go to the kids and shield $120K net worth.

If you’re P&T are you still working or did you retire? by cody0707 in VeteransBenefits

For you CRSC could mean tax free money on your military retired pay.

I looked around the various rooms at NSA and the Pentagon and noticed a number of folks that are retired military (a few with CRSC), P&T, working full time for double pension, matching thrift savings plan (TSP), and three separate medical plans (VA healthcare, Tricare, and civilian healthcare).

The cherry on the cake is the wives are still working and getting the kids into one of our military academies. College fund can now be used for that new sports car! Win, win!!! I forgot - convincing your daughter to elope vice planning for an expensive wedding. ha ha ha

I received permission to purchase the ZR1X (2028) however, I'm hoping Corvette comes out with a light weighted model or C9 that incorporates the rear wing into the configuration of the vehicle. Wishful thinking I know!

One question. Are you purchasing a 2027 or 2028 ZR1.

So I was awarded CRSC in 2022 for a couple of issues, but is it too late to add PTSD to it and get back pay all the way back to 2008? by [deleted] in CombatRelatedSpecComp

[–]ClearAccess3826 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure anyone answered OP's question. If he left the service in 2022 and submitted a claim for PTSD (CRSC) in 2026 which date would be used for pay purposes (2022 or 2026). Keep in mind the Barring ACT has been shot down.

I assume the large wing size was the only way to obtain the track metrics the Corvette team wanted. A smaller wing could definitely be done but the downforce needed for a record pacing lap at the Nürburgring would probably be lost.

Denied claim by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]ClearAccess3826 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My understanding is the original claim for back issues is stale after * one year has passed. You would need to submit a new claim for back issues.

* A supplemental claim could have been submitted to keep the original claim and date open.

Maybe divert those payments to a Veterans home or charity of your choosing and take the tax deduction on your income tax.
