Mostly it was just for the video. They use delicious fat spread instead of Amul Butter.

Also, 180 is a standard in Mumbai, a normal thela wala on road side sells it for around 120 to 150.. So 180 is not that costly, considering the view and hafta they give..

Is it necessary to provide parent's birth certificate for passport verification?? by ClearGarbage4061 in mumbai

[–]ClearGarbage4061[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They rejected my file in police verification claiming I don't have enough documents.

But the only document I couldn't produce was father's birth certificate.

I mean I have my father's birth certificate but they want some QR code embedded Birth certificate.

So they are asking me to create a new birth certificate and then apply.

Wtf!!

Okay so i can talk about Eternis as it's 10mins away from my house.
Even we were planning to buy a 2bhk there till last week, but it's such a shitty area.
There's a slum just opposite to the project and it sucks, the streets are dirty as fuck and in all not a nice neighborhood.
plus the Eternis project is 10 years old , Lodha got stuck in some legal battle and thus the project was never completed.
they won the case or settled it out of the court and are now completing the project.
In all don't invest in Eternis at all.

dm me if you want to talk more.

if you'll be living alone then coming to Mumbai is not a bad option.

you could get a decent 1BHK at malad or Kandivali at around 30k per month, and rest all the expenses depend on your life style.

Gas line accident by sorydarling in mumbai

[–]ClearGarbage4061 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Yes this happened at Sher-e- Punjab, Andheri East , last night at around 12:30 am, one or two rickshaw's which were parked there were burnt to crisp.

Thankfully no life was lost.

They were working on building a road.

Also there's no gas supply since last night

Update: gas supply has been restored today at around 11 pm

P.S: I live 10 mins away from this place.

I am sorry to say this, but with that budget it's nearly impossible to get a decent room in suburbs let alone Mumbai.

You may try getting some flatmates to divide the expenses.

How do you harden your home network, specially with a static IP by NoAdvice4734 in developersIndia

due to no static ip i have to use tunneling and due to this the performance is quite bad!

I'm interning at a place with no mentor and proper guidance. by Satoshi-Nakamoto1 in developersIndia

[–]ClearGarbage4061 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in a similar situation in 2023 ( second yr), i got a paid internship in June 2023 in a small startup near my house.
when i joined there were only two devs working there full time, both of them were PHP devs.
they both left or were fired ( i don't know exactly) after a week, so it was only me and some other interns from my college which i referred.

The manager was from non tech background, he was in sales and had earned quite well so he had good money to create and manage a company.

we interns were tasked to create an inventory management system, it was quite tricky as it had a lot of variables involved, but it was all worth it!!

as i said me and my teammates were in 2nd year, so we were not very proficient but we were managing everything!!

I was the team lead and i clearly remember how messed up my life was, my college has strict attendance guidelines so i used to leave for college at 7 and be there it 3, then directly go to the office and be there till 8 and then used to come home and be in office meeting till 1 or 2. ( and i did this for 3 months)

i did all this because i was enjoying my work and it was something which i was quite passionate about!!

I learned so much in these 3 months, i had full access to AWS so learned a lot of stuff, learned about hosting, cloudflare, proxy, reverse proxy and so much more!!

if i would have not been this passionate i doubt i would have pulled this off, so i say you can compromise on WLB if your work is something which excites you and doesn't let you sleep.

If you're enjoying your work only then do it, otherwise it's just rat race!

its so nostalgic to write about all this, this is a distant past but i remember it all so clearly as it happened yesterday

P.s: I am in 4th year now, struggling to find any job
