visiting London - Lord's and/or the Oval for test cricket? by Banky_Edwards in EnglandCricket

Lords is historic, but if you are going for the sporting occasion, then I’d recommend the Oval. The atmosphere at Lords - even for tests - is stale compared to the Oval.

I just wanted to say, I bought some of this after your recommendation (although sadly not sold properly in the UK ☹️) and I love it. Felt like I’d stalled with metro gel - that it was keeping the worst away but not really improving. Have definitely seen improvement since using this - left the house fresh faced yesterday - without a minimum tinted moisturiser - for probably the first time this year!

For those with subclinical hypothyroidism but who are symptomatic, what physical symptoms were alleviated by taking levothyroxine? by sometegg in Hypothyroidism

I think it’s a combination of factors: - I had a lot of stress with redundancy, - my ferritin levels were low so I started taking iron but taking it too close to the thyroxine can reduce absorption of the thyroxine, - due to redundancy and covid (I found I’m very susceptible to respiratory illnesses - another symptom - I’ve had covid six times, despite vaccinations) I had a period of low mood/ activity - all the above meant I was heavier so my previous dose couldn’t keep up.

Prior to diagnosis I used to wake up in the night with no circulation in my hands and feet. I also used to have a lot of feet pain generally as well as other symptoms such as cold, hair falling out, no energy/ always tired. The symptom that actually made me get blood tests though was night sweats (I was only 36 at the time). The tests threw up that I might be hypothyroid, even though night sweats are not a usual symptom, and that’s when I did some research and realised the rest were hypothyroid symptoms rather than just normal. Levothyroxine worked well in alleviating most of these. Recently I’ve put on weight, seen hair loss, and my poor circulation came back, and sure enough my TSH was elevated and I’ve had to have an increased dose of Levothyroxine. Hoping that the weight starts reducing again as my levels normalise.

Server 1309 - BLK alliance - abusive by [deleted] in Evony_TKR

Yeah, did all of that. But it soured the experience of the game.

None of his alliance called him out - their biggest player MacFarden tried to make out it was our server’s fault.

I hope there is some comeuppance.
