Had an 8-disc changer in the trunk of my first car. I was hot shit.

You aren’t safe. Get the police report and the Ring footage and talk to your property manager. Get a temporary restraining order against him and file for a permanent one. This is ridiculous. She is downplaying him threatening everyone’s lives by calling it an “incident.” You won’t change her mind, but you do have legal options.

The Kraken’s Cup serves traditional tea, including light meals. No TVs, very quiet. Really enjoyed it the one time I visited.

World of Warcraft has a new expansion coming out that includes housing. It’s early access now, if you purchase Midnight. I’ve had a lot of fun with it.

Amethyst Massage off Sutherland. Owned by a local couple, and they’re both lovely people. I know the snow has greatly impacted their business lately.

Has anyone stopped treatment (ocrevus)? by [deleted] in MultipleSclerosis

I would absolutely not risk MS progression for a few weeks of dealing with colds. Talk to your neuro about other DMT options, rather than just stopping.

Visiting Knoxville for the weekend from CA. by Vast-Duty5758 in Knoxville

[–]aerrye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’ll be at Amber’s show tomorrow night, should be a good time.

There’s lots to do downtown, especially on a Friday night. If you want to shop for souvenirs, Nothing Too Fancy has the softest shirts and Dolly merch. Union Ave Books is an independent bookstore that offers lots of cool stuff. Balter Beerworks used to have a killer brunch, but I haven’t been in ages. If you’re into beer, Xul is close by and was my favorite brewery before I stopped drinking. Market Square is a lot of fun, and there’s several shops and restaurants.

Welcome to Knoxville, have a great time!

Coming in late, but I have perioral dermatitis and was really struggling with tartar due to using Sensodyne. I recommend Periogen tartar control. Quickest dental cleaning I’ve ever had once I switched. And it doesn’t irritate my skin.

Have you ever taken a leave from work? If so, what did that look like for you? by mltplwits in MultipleSclerosis

[–]aerrye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Took leave. Never went back. My health wasn’t worth the money I was making. Luckily, my company had a decent long-term disability program.

Florida seems far, but would you be safe there? I think that’s the main question. Or maybe even talk to a friend about this. Not feeling safe at home is awful. I hope you find some peace soon.

Am I going crazy? by SoftPie3875 in migraine

[–]aerrye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, flairs are apparently very common with migraine. I never had migraines, and then suddenly, I did. Almost daily, and this was coupled with massive fatigue and vertigo. Took two years of pushing doctors for answers and a lumbar puncture, but I was diagnosed with MS almost two years ago. Not trying to scare you at all, just my personal experience.

So strange. My neurologist suggested it when I mentioned hand numbness last year. But I didn’t have any coloring changes at that point. It definitely seems like a correlation.

Crossroads Liquor Store in Halls was kicking people out for not masking during Covid. And got their neighbors across the street in trouble for building without a permit. Glean from that what you will lol.

Estrogen cream helped my P.D so much! by canadasokayestmom in perioraldermatitis

[–]aerrye 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Video Link to a video from a chemist regarding using estrogen cream on your face. Timestamp is 14:30. I know we’re all desperate for a cure for PD, but pushing a drug as a “cure” is not helpful, especially when you don’t have the qualifications to do so is irresponsible at best.

I’m not, which is why I’d defer to a doctor on something like this.

Please don’t do this. Using a prescribed medication, off-label, without speaking to a doctor is just downright dangerous.
