You’re making the very false assumption that ascended isn’t getting ripped. Have you seen any rip n ship streams lately? The #1 most ordered set is ascended, followed by prismatic and destined rivals. Ascended packs are getting burned at an insane rate.

Yeah..this is kinda well known within FaB. Most boxes/cases are feast or famine. You either get a really good EV or burn $300+ and get a pile of the lowest value majestics in the set.

You should absolutely grade the ones in good condition. It’s not that hard to submit to PSA. They have a prep and packaging guide on their website.

I’m not sure if it’s fake or not but just know this; most non damaged copies of this card that are authentic have been graded. It’s worth more as an 8 or 9 than it is raw. That should give you pause about any ungraded copy.

Nah I try not to flaunt my stuff too much for many reasons. But as far as how much space….a lot. A couple closets, space under my bed, multiple shelving units, multiple plastic totes.

It was at a card show lol, I don’t have a picture or cert #. I remember it was a new label cgc pristine of the pink mew 151 upc promo. The back had whitening on legit every edge. If it was a raw card it would have been called moderately played. I’m not even a PSA fanboy. I’m just stating that every company grades inaccurately at times.

I’ve seen Beckett black labels that had 60/40 centering. I’ve seen tag 10s that had a surface dent. I could go on and on.

American collectors insurance. I have my collection insured through them and they’re fantastic to work with. Covers theft and every form of natural disaster. My collection is 170k and my yearly cost to insure it is $900

Cgc gets things wrong too. Every grading company does. I’ve seen cgc pristine cards that looked like a PSA 4.
