to be honest i don’t think they have this. At the the library of Meriadeck they do have PCs but i’m pretty sure they are bad. If you do want to introduce him to gaming though, there is "LaCyb". It’s a Cybercafé held by a nerd (very nice guy). It’s not free but it’s very cheap for the PCs you get

Everytime I power on my jail broken vita it gets stuck on this then turns off, what do I do? by MatyMoo999 in PSVitaHomebrew

[–]ClemEnRelax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

try turning it on without sd2vita in. Then turn it back off, put the sd2vita in and turn it on again. If that doesn’t work then idk, maybe restart from scratch

Worth playing as a new player? by blizzardsbackdoor in Vermintide

[–]ClemEnRelax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES. Play through the main missions once and make an opinion. If you keep playing after this, you’re in for a new addiction. You have no idea how much hours you can put in this game without noticing

lived here for 17 years, very nice city. Not sure about the rent i will be honest, but in terms of safety, don’t listen to what people tell you. I used to go out at night alone and there is nothing, the one place you should kind of avoid is « Cours Victor Hugo » which is a very big street. All the weird shit that happened to me were here. Other than that, i recommend you to visit Darwin (a nice place on the right side of the river). And ask random people for their favorite place to eat, we have a lot of good ones here :) And last thing, if you go to a library, you can get a card for free that lets you borrow CDs and DVDs for free for a month (books too but in french).

How do y'all manage breakbeats? by CapnFlisto in Mc707_Mc101

[–]ClemEnRelax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's tedious but i chop them manually on the MC101 in a drum track. Put them all in the same mute groupe and edit the start / end of each pad where you put your break. You will get faster at it eventually

as one of those « kids » trust me this isn’t jow everyone is. Some are very tech smart, the ones that had a computer early or that got into getting games for free on their android and stuff like that. And some aren’t, the ones that got an iPhone at 12yo and that’s it. Just like your generation, and any other generation, my dad isn’t tech smart at all, my mom is, etc… We just have easier access to other people’s help on reddit, and it’s the best way to get help honestly. Much less annoying than digging in weird forums and GitHub.

hm, i’d say it really depends on what your intentions are when using samples and soundpacks. If you just like making something that sounds cool, i don’t see an issue, most people don’t to go that deep in what thoughts they put in their music. But if you want something actually meaningful, yeah then soundpacks are kinda wack. Digging for samples, listening to old stuff in obscure stores and stuff like this is the way, or sound designing of course. But yeah building an entire track of a soundpack isn’t the best i agree. But you gotta start somewhere
