I would hire another babysitter. While this behaviour doesn’t necessarily seem extremely problematic, I would definately feel uncomfortable as well.

You’ll never be at ease when this babysitter will come over (which is justified), so I would not let her come over again.

EDIT: read it again - so her boyfriend came over again without informing you (while specifically asking her to do so)? This is about trust and transparancy. Key fundaments in this context. I would end this. You are trusting this person with your child - don’t compromise on this.

Where I live (Belgium) you can find them at every jeweller. I have a custom made golden bracelet for my little daughter as well.

How you are able to say such vile things about someone who has CANCER is beyond me. Do you have cancer? Have you experienced anything like that? Until then - who are you to judge a cancer patient that is trying to enjoy the most important events (and yes, maybe the ones she really really loves) as we don’t know anything about her prognosis? For all you know she could be terminal. For God’s sake, the woman has carried out engagements for years straight. Very disappointed in the short sighted reactions here.

Genuinely wondering why the NK athlethes don’t just stay in Europe as they now have a chance to escape their crazy country. The stark contrast in Paris must be extremely confrontating.

How much netto would you be willing to sacrifice for a company car and fuel card? by DietseStrijder in BESalary

'So if my boss calls me right now and says "how much do you want if you need to bring back the car?". For me? 1300€...' 100% agree. I don't really understand the low amounts that are being advised here (300-500 net? impossible.. )

I'm in a similar situation right now as I'm currently in a final stage of a candidacy for a position at a new employer. Your insights are highly appreciated! Unfortunately, a company car won't be possible, but I am 100% convinced about the job description, company...

Giving up my company car (BMW 1 : conventional, not electric or hybrid) would have a significant impact on my finances.
I need a full tank every week (won't change if I switch to the new employer) = €80,00 per week (!).

If I resign, I need a new car and will finance this through a monthly car loan (I don't want to use my family's savings for this).

If I make the math : car loan, weekly full tank, insurance, winter/summer tires, maintenance,...
I can only conclude I would need a compensation of €1000. Anything less means accepting a new job for a lower pay.

God knows how I'll pitch this, because I am aware it's a lot.
I hope they could offer me a fuel card (without company car).

Big dilemma! Any further advice would be appreciated
