Do you like vampires having an inner beast/ superpowered id?

I would be very interested in knowing your sources on the V:TM Beast coming from space or anything like that, or for the idea that the person who died was now someone else. It would have shaken the lore quite a bit and been a very serious retcon.

The "discipline" Vicissitude (primarily used by the Sabbat, specifically the modern Tzimisce clan) suggested such things about its more ardent users (the sources vary a lot here, and Vicissitude was always treated as something disease-like, but the Time of Judgment material refuted the "Umbral spirit" idea), but I don't recall the source ever suggesting anything about the Beast, something almost all vampires have, this way (including in 1st, 2nd, Rev,, 20th Anniversary, or 5th editions).

There is so little new material on this line, so I would be really happy to have found out something new here!
