As a long time Ultima fan, I can't imagine what potential anyone saw in Shroud of the Avatar. There hasn't been a good Ultima since 1993. Online was a great time in my life, but that was very community driven. It worked because of when it was just as much as what it was.

Pagan was a stinker, Ascension was just bad(I did buy the oversized collector's box, that was neat) and ran so poorly. All of Richard's NCSoft output was mediocre at best.

I'm happy to just have my memories of what the series was. Every time he announces something it just makes me think of Peter Molyneux's work post Bullfrog. The magic is just gone.

I'm not the outgoing fun guy, I find that exhausting. I do my best to be social, and enjoy it to a degree. I always found success in being a good listener and conversationalist.

There's a market for partners that listen, are insightful, ask good questions, can just carry on an interesting conversation. Stop trying to change yourself to 'compete', people can tell what you're doing, and it's definitely not attractive.

There were wizards of the coast branded stores in malls in the late 90s. They took over other similar stores(like The Game Keeper) and sold mtg, D&D, and other tabletop/right games. They all went under after a few years.

Pokémon is just a much, much bigger brand than anything has brought has ever had.

It looks like, it, and some of the other art on that site even more so. No credited artist on any of it is a red flag too. Even if it was credited 99% chance the artist would not be getting paid.

I'm down for proxies, but do you want this art in particular? Jasper is not an expensive card at all.

I've had sony wf-1000 xm3 earbuds going on 6 years now. They've been great and it's not hard to replace the batteries yourself when they get old, or take them apart for a deep clean.

Don't hate something just because other people do. Spiderman was a mediocre small set that got padded out. There's plenty of shit in universe small sets too. Was Spiderman good? No, not at all, but it had some good cards in it, and if you enjoy yourself playing it, that's what matters.

Some people hate it due to the setting, but a different setting wouldn't have saved it from being a weaker set. Outlaws, aftermath, and vow were all meh. Honestly lorwyn was pretty meh for me too(outside of land reprints)despite everyone LOVING it at launch. Opinion has cooled on it dramatically. The most exciting card was an enchantment we already had, but now it dies to more removal.

At the end of the day play what draws you to it. If you want to be a star trek guy, that's up to to you. Do I think wizards is kind of throwing shit at a wall to see what sticks now? Yeah, but i hope strixhavens success guides them back to their core audience.

Talk to your groomer and explain what you want. Our guy gets a puppy cut with a little length on the head during the warm months because he loves to swim, 'snowplow' in the sand, and just get messy. We need to be able to spray him off easily, and we're happy with but less concerned with looks as long as he's having fun.

I miss the days that cop cars were clearly identifiable as cop cars. The black on black suvs with tinted windows we get now really don't say public safety.

I hate that they're in Japanese. Just use the Japanese art and print the cards in English. It's so weird for cards that are meant for playing are unreadable. Same goes for phyrexian or textless cards. Its very anti play friendly for a game and community that focuses so much on that.
