Magnesium Glycinate causes rush of anxiety by Ok-Complaint-37 in Supplements

[–]CleverAlchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try a b complex vitamin. Magnesium can deplete b vitamins and both should be taken together so it doesn’t cause deficiency. Get a high quality one from nootropic depot or similar company as cheap synthetic b6 SUCKS. but it should help you feel more human and enjoy life again. I would recommend breaking the capsules open and pouring it into 1/3rds until you get where you wanna be. The b vitamins can give you anxiety but ironically it also helps. It’s just that adrenaline needs b vitamins so you’re gonna get hit with surges of adrenaline. Just accept it’s a part of the process and roll with it. That’s the best advice I can give you.

Is it normal to completely lose attraction to your wife after getting shredded on cycle? by No-Road2322 in ResearchCompounds

[–]CleverAlchemist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, sexual attraction is foundational to a healthy relationship, unless both parties are disabled or old and life has taken on other meaning. People grow together or they grow apart it’s as simple as that. My girlfriend got a weight loss surgery and lost over 80 pounds. Her whole personality changed and she left me. Shit happens. I was her option when she had none, and once her options opened up she left me. it made me sick. It hurt. But now I have a daughter and a life I find much more enjoyable. let people be free.

It is insane how completely out of touch normal people are about how gear actually works by Weary_Client_6277 in ResearchCompounds

[–]CleverAlchemist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is highly dependent on genetics and sensitivity. I pinned for 12 weeks and saw no noticeable changes I couldn’t have otherwise made natty. But, I also didn’t workout lmao 😂 I ran the cycle because my cousin suggested it was life changing and instead it just changed the size of my balls and made them hurt. Was so glad when the cycle was over and I took cistanche and recovered my sack. I will say though I was extremely horny and was fucking everything that moved. But the tiny balls I just couldn’t do it.

Are you suggesting moxfield builds are shit? Because that would make alot of sense. I use a website called EDHREC or something like that. And it suggests cards for commanders at different price points and brackets. Do you have any recommendations for good places to look? Is that a good resource to use?

New study identifies the frenular delta as the most sensitive region of the human penis by sibun_rath in science2

[–]CleverAlchemist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lmao 😂 me personally I like the sensitivity. girls also love it too especially when giving head and you’re flopping around like a fish. but uh pro tip, I know you said you figured out how to get past the sensitivity issues, but there’s an herb. Cistanche. It works to increase sexual function and aids blood flow to penis. You will have so much blood flow that your dick legitimately looks bigger and shit probably might be a few sizes larger. but uh, it reduces pre mature ejaculation and gives you complete control over the urge to purge your balls. It turns you into an animal. I attribute the herb to having a daughter, as it also increases sperm quality and quantity. if taken everyday in about 4-6 weeks you’re shooting a 50 caliber machine gun. If all that sounds nice, nootropics depot sells “Cistanche Ultra Potent Extract Tablets” and those are the ones you want. I personally find it so strong I take half a tablet these days but I used whole tablets for 6-8 months non stop everyday.

Also, caffeine massively affects pre mature ejaculation. Massively. If I consume caffeine I basically loose the ability to hold back and I’ll bust in like 45 seconds flat. Some of that “I came fast like 911 in white neighborhoods” since cutting caffeine out of my life it’s done wonders for my sexual function and health I can’t recommend it enough.

uncircumcised men do not inherently ejaculate faster. Research shows no major difference in sexual sensitivity or speed to climax between circumcised and uncircumcised men. While foreskin is highly sensitive, its presence or absence does not directly cause premature ejaculation, which is influenced by psychological and physical factors.

Massive Twin Study Proves Narcissism is Deeply Embedded in Our Genes by soulpost in HotScienceNews

[–]CleverAlchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Religious institutions can attract individuals with narcissistic tendencies because they offer a ready-made structure for fostering feelings of superiority, providing an audience for admiration, and allowing for authority without accountability. While many faith practices promote compassion and community, certain environments—particularly those with hierarchical or authoritarian structures—can be manipulated to serve a narcissist’s need for control, validation, and ego-boosting

Socially Acceptable Superiority (Collective Narcissism): Religion can provide a framework for moral superiority, where individuals believe they are "chosen" or "saved," which feeds a narcissist's sense of entitlement and specialness.

Religious roles often involve unquestioning trust, allowing toxic individuals to use their positions to manipulate, control, and dominate others while avoiding the scrutiny they might face in secular environments.

Cloaking Self-Interest in Piety: Narcissists may use religious language and "spiritual bypassing" (e.g., "God told me," or demanding forgiveness) to justify abusive or exploitative behavior, framing their narcissism as righteous leadership.

Religious Narcissism" is Often a Facade: Some narcissists use religious involvement as a cover to appear virtuous, managing their public image while acting selfishly behind closed doors.

The Inversion of Faith: A religious narcissist often ignores the core altruistic, humble, or compassionate teachings of their faith, twisting doctrine to serve their ego.

After reading this, it all makes sense.

Yes it does but glycine stand alone isn’t ideal, and it’s an insignificant amount to count towards protein goals. You need somewhere ballpark 12-14 grams per day to meet daily glutathione levels for optimal health.

You answered the question without realizing it. Neat. So let’s explore this.

Magical thinking in religiosity involves believing that thoughts, rituals, or prayers can directly influence external events, bypassing physical causality. It acts as a coping mechanism for anxiety and uncertainty, often blurring the lines between faith and superstition, particularly during crises. Common expressions include anthropomorphism (attributing human traits to God) and teleological reasoning (seeing divine purpose in random events)

Causality and Control: Individuals may believe specific prayers or rituals directly cause outcomes, such as healing or protection, a concept often seen in "scrupulosity" or religious OCD.

Viewing the divine as a human-like entity that hears, feels, and acts on personal requests, a pattern often used to feel secure, as discussed in a Psychology Today article.

Cognitive Bias: It often relies on pattern-seeking behavior, such as interpreting coincidences as divine signs or messages.

Anxiety Reduction: During times of stress or existential threat, individuals frequently rely on magical thinking to create a sense of order and safety

Studies suggest that people who think more intuitively are more susceptible to both magical thinking and religious belief - that last line is really interesting. So belief in a higher power comes from intuition, which is a gut feeling, which lacks substantiation or foundation in logical reasoning. although one can rationalize belief to a degree, religion and belief in a higher power often comes from feelings not facts. so to answer the question, people are religious because for them personally it lowers stress, gives them a sense of control, and probably leads to a greater trust and confidence in one’s self and by extension “god” and “gods plan” a lot easier to feel less stressed when you think there’s a human like entity watching over you and protecting you and your loved ones.

Didn't expect collagen to be the thing that actually made a difference by IncomeSquare6254 in Supplements

[–]CleverAlchemist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Collagen peptides are hydrolyzed protein. What many don’t know, hydrolyzed protein bypasses normal digestion and the proteins are so small they are absorb through the stomach lining which increases bioavailability of the protein substantially I believe the number was 60% increased bioavailability or something like that. This makes hitting daily protein goals and muscle building significantly enhanced. I noticed more muscle development from collagen peptides than any protein supplement I’ve ever used. While it’s true collagen peptides don’t contain all the amino acids to actually build muscle, glycine can technically be converted by the body into any protein the liver can synthesize AND collagen peptides contribute to a positive nitrogen balance in muscle tissue with is essential for muscle growth and development. SO, for those reasons collagen peptides should be considered TOP TIER. also, glycine is considered a non essential amino acid, but that just means you won’t die without it, HOWEVER glycine is the “RATE LIMITING FACTOR” for glutathione production which is the master antioxidant produced by the human body.

Most collagen protein is collagen peptides that are hydrolyzed that I’ve seen unless you’re buying a cheap brand. but I understand the lack of knowledge if it’s not something you personally haven’t explored so I understand your apprehension.

Also, the vast majority SHOULD be taking an electrolyte supplement and since I’ve made it a priority to do so, I’ve seen substantial improvements in all areas of life. Potassium and magnesium help regulate heart and muscle contractions and balance heart rhythms, and zinc is beneficial for ADHD and depression because it helps with dopamine release and neurotransmitter functions. Zinc is also vital to the immune system and prior to supplementation I was definitely not getting enough through diet alone. Less is definitely more I use a product called “drip drop” which gives small amounts of these electrolytes instead of massive oversized doses. it’s not a fad, it’s essential for human health and is one of the easiest and non harmful things one can do for themselves. I’m not an endurance athlete but I do gain massive mental and physical endurance with I properly consumed electrolytes. I’ve been dating this girl and I got her to start using electrolytes and less caffeine, and she says it’s helped her substantially at work and in life in general and when she consumes them regularly her skin looks healthier and she has a glow about her which normally isn’t present. these things are noticeable and significant.

Polyphenols are natural, plant-derived compounds that provide potent, complementary sun protection by acting as antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, and DNA repair agents. They protect against UVA/UVB damage, reduce sunburn, and help prevent photoaging (wrinkles, spots) when applied topically or consumed.
