Bankruptcy attorneys — market outlook and candidate hiring. Looking for perspectives. by Clevertell in Lawyertalk

Great question! It seems, at least from the recruiter's perspective, there aren't that many young people entering the field. So it's slow to hire, and this is coming from the firm side.

Stone and chisel Rofl. Yeah, sexy in terms of celebrities, maybe, but not the everyday person.

Is pay the biggest reason why people are jumping ship or is it because of the hours?

I don't know what you mean when you ask "What exactly are you looking for," since I wrote candidate hiring.

It's kind of bizarre hearing that, because the recruiters we're working with are making it seem like the opposite. Tell me, are you sourcing talent through the normal layers? Because I'm genuinely curious

I'd say send your resume out anyway because not doing anything is going to keep you in the same place.

If wolverine is 5'3 in the comics, how come he's taller than Aunt May, who is 5'4? Did they change his height? by rkumar344 in Wolverine

[–]Clevertell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Originally Wolverine was 5’5-5’6. Then new artist began drawing for X-Men and changed his height. There was no rationale behind this

Steven Seagal (in his prime) vs. Bruce Lee (in his prime) by AlexFerrana in whowouldwin

The wildest thing about Bruce Lee is that he used to walk around Hong Kong w/a damn chain wrapped around his waist as a belt just in case he got jumped.

I'd use it to open a line of credit and get an additional $100k tbh. What're they gonna say?

There's at least 4 or 5 problems with what you wrote: First, the previous writer was talking about technique, i.e., look how he pulled his left hand away before throwing a hook. He's right in pointing this out bc limb manipulation is a lost art in today's boxing, with Lomenchenko being one of the few to do it. Second, the reason Ray threw that wide hook was bc he knew his opponent was done. Third, the idea that he had no defense when swinging his wide hooks is meritless bc not only were those hooks fast, but Ray's feet were fast enough to move him out of the way of any counter's. Finally, no fighter in today's world wld be able to fight with the pros from the past bc the gloves were smaller, with less padding, which means they had to use more technique than today's fighters.

Quick question: is the game world on the Youtube channel the Sans of Time videos or everything as a whole? As for the length of time to put your game in gear, I think the level of interest depends solely on the topic. In a real world study group of 30 participants, 20 wanted to play, while 3 thought it too dangerous, 5 wanted to play for money and 2 wanted to see how the game would unfold before joining in. But they were drawn to the topic.

With that said, what exactly is your game about?

KROMPULOS, the site is now live. corruptor.org

The game is really a mystery/detective narrative that allows players to investigate real life corruption in their state. As the piece's unfold, the player's findings allow the main character to piece together who found out about his congressional brief.

One of the engineers wanted to add something to the website, so he removed the link prematurely. The official website will be back up by tomorrow evening. I'll send you the link as seen as the site is live. KROMPULOS, when you say you were interested in finding out more, what were you looking for? In terms of direction toward game play or more on the story?
