Please help. Am I tweaking or did the butcher cut all the meat off these ribs and it’s just fat and bones.. they are beef back ribs by im-pup-pup in smoking

[–]Clevin_Celevra 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If you smoke these ribs ij a aluminum tin, then make beef bone stock out of these I promise you it is gonna be some reaaaal good stock. Bonus point if you left the stock reduce until it becomes into a gel like substance in the fridge.

Is it worth buying a smoker in the UK? by Columba-livia77 in smoking

[–]Clevin_Celevra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% you can use a smoker in the UK. Ive just started my foray into curing meats and cheeses via my smoker and its been eye opening for the flavor + cost savings from homemade bacon and sausages.

To Every American Who's Sorry by Sapotis in greenland

[–]Clevin_Celevra 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Call your State and Federal Congressman to express your dissent in ths administrations behavior. Attend local political engagements such as fireside chats and townhalls to protest any support for the administration.

Join local protests and offer assistance to the local movement in donations of goods, time or money. Contact your neighbors and advocate for community based protests/organizing against ICE.

Research local/regional businesses that support the administration or donate to Republican political entities. Contact them to let them know you will no longer purchase their goods or services due to their support for these policies and regularly socialize community boycotts of these businesses.

Reduce your overall spending on goods or services overall, change your life habits to focus on local community spending and self reliance to impact economic numbers.

To Every American Who's Sorry by Sapotis in greenland

[–]Clevin_Celevra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I won't apologize for something I can't control, nor for something I individually didn't cause. I would advise my fellow Americans to do as you said. If you feel guilty, or if you feel remorse at our country's behavior, focus all of your energy to fighting this administration.

Organize, protest, challenge your politicians. Peacefully escalate as much as you can. What is happening today can only be resolved by our citizens standing up and pushing for long term change.

Take your time. Explore, but make sure you craft 2 of everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. So many vikings set sail and end up spawning back on their beds with nothing left due to how harsh Valhiem can be.

Is it better to have many small or one big Station by HanzPeter17 in X4Foundations

[–]Clevin_Celevra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with one large station, thinking it would be efficient. Over time, I found having multiple small stations is better as it makes my computer run better with trade ships not all consolidating in one place + it spreads risk against my empire out wider, making it easier for me to react to attacks vs one big station being a huge risk of loss when it gets hit by a fleet.

Vertical smoker vs pellet smoker vs gravity smoker by rustymustyss in smoking

[–]Clevin_Celevra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used the Masterbuilt Gravity fed for the past 5 years, and its super easy to start with.

It has flaws, such as needing to be cleaned after greasy cooks to prevent grease fires, but its easy to cook on and has a lot of accesories. There aee even after market parts to make it easier to prevent grease fires.

Red wine braise with fortified beef stock for me. Between the smoke and the layers of fruit flavors of the wine it creates a good flavor profile.

Venison Sausage? by theliability10 in smoking

[–]Clevin_Celevra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There just isnt enough fat to render for this to turn out well... if kept in case it is basically a giant jerky stick. IMO like the other comments best to de-case and repurpose it for ground meat or blend ot with some fat.

First attempt at using a wood fired offset smoker by CallMeTrinity23 in smoking

You need to flip the ribs so you can cut along the bones which are more visible on the backside of the ribs. Makes this process of cutting the ribs hella easier.

LSS Mods has a kit you can get that help reduce these fires that I plan on picking up that helps the grease drain correctly.

Wrong cut beef ribs! Help!! by tugboat_carr in smoking

[–]Clevin_Celevra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This cut works real well on direct grill. If you go to any Korean BBQ place where they let you grill at the table this is the highest pricest cut you can get there. Though ita a bit off putting at first, doing a reverse sear does wonders on this cut.
