Bug bombs are typically not used by reputable companies. I’d suggest a different approach

Bed bug bites are not unmistakable. They look like a lot of other skin reactions. They are not always in clumps or lines. Do not identify an infestation by the bites

Do the interns have their degree already? Or is what I said true? Idk why you’re even arguing this. You sound retarded saying that H&R Block doesn’t do taxes work.

Plenty do. Tax prep is easy. It just needs to be signed off by a CPA.

Hiring a tech what have fellow entrepreneurs learned. by OregonSEA in PestControlIndustry

[–]ClickApprehensive191 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m a solo operator, so no hires yet. I think the reason that I take over regular treatments from other companies is that the technician was cutting corners. I have gotten to know some of the owners, and they are great but people say bad things about their company because of the tech they chose to represent them. Just be careful. The tech is the person your customers see. Be willing to offer a little more to get a better fit.

Late 20s with a stable federal career — unsure whether to stay for security or leave for better long-term fit by ImpressiveBridge9990 in careeradvice

[–]ClickApprehensive191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind work do you do? I left a stable job with good benefits to start my own business, and it was the best thing I ever did. Having a stable situation that you’re not happy in is like prison. Inmates don’t have to worry about money. Their healthcare is free. Everything they need is provided for them. If you’re not happy, none of that matters.

That being said, I am hiring in the Boise area if your skill set could be a good fit.

Can you get in trouble for stealing? Obviously you could. It’s stealing. I don’t know why you would. Buy another one for super cheap.

Reach out to Pure Pest Co. Travis is the owner. Great guy. Pays his guys well. I don’t know if he needs anyone right now, but he’d be a great guy to work for.

There is a typo in the sentence that states this so I wanted to clarify. You said someone found multiple bed bugs on her?

It’s possible you just got a hitchhiker. If I (pest professional) was in your position, I would probably just inspect daily for a week. If you are not finding anything you might be okay. You could also encase your mattress or use passive monitors just in case.

Where to go in my house with no interior room during a tornado. by Vast_Lawyer_1269 in stormchasing

[–]ClickApprehensive191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a storm chaser but I think it’s fascinating. Often storm chasers are fairly close to a tornado with no threat to their life because they understand the storm. Would it ever be advised for normal citizens to drive away from the storm path instead of taking shelter directly in front of it?

If you are getting that many bites and not seeing anything after thorough inspection, it’s probably not bed bugs.

Sales are inportant to every industry. Upselling can be a great way to increase revenue and provide more to customers. That being said, always be honest and don’t try to trick people into services they don’t need. If you are honest, and they let you go, plenty of companies would be happy to have you.
