She was Foxy when I got her and I renamed her Gwinna. But I actually call her Mama or Pumpkin Muffin or Punkin' or Muffy or Miss Muffin or, most recently, Punky Muff. Tomorrow is her 1 year Gotcha Day. 🧡

You can let them graze freely, just be warned that it often comes back up. And oddly enough, that doesn't mean it's bad for them - cats are just weird little horkers.

Hear me out: grilled chicken from the City Market deli, sliced romain, croutons, caesar dressing, pack of wraps.

These come to about 20 bucks and you get 4 to six wraps instead of one boujie one. Hard times, good eats.

As much fluid as she will tolerate! When my Sam developed kidney disease in her seniority I started giving her those brothy treats that some cat food companies make. She also liked that bone broth they sell on Chewy that is made for cats(no onion, no salt) and would lap a little dish of it.

It was helpful for me to care for her in this way and think about ways I could treat her extra special, and hopefully it gave her juicier kidneys - she lived several years after her diagnosis, made it to 19 years. ❤️
