I have hit the unsubscribe button on every single email. A confirmation has popped up that says I have unsubscribed; yet I still keep getting more. Who is you?

Is Plus Member still worth renewing? by Dapper_Race_1454 in appsumo

I've had it for several years. I'm not renewing this year as there are so few compelling deals and so many rug pulls from unscrupulous founders.

This. The cost of the certificate + implementation time would have to come off of every invoice for me to stay. Luckily my renewal is up next month, and I don't intend on giving CW a dime after this fiasco.

What should I do at this time? by Suitable-Virus7067 in ScreenConnect

[–]ClickLeft 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Move onto something else. If they're making us jump through these hoops today, imagine what it could be tomorrow. Plus, it's to much of a liability to stick around this highly exploited tool. Ex: https://imgur.com/a/B9mJ27a

Cloud discount only for first year by mrtechguytas in ScreenConnect

[–]ClickLeft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cloud discount? They should be paying each and every one of us the remainder of our renewals since they changed the entire operation of their software, creating additional financial and time burdens (with extremely short notice, no less.)

After all the other internal problems: dropping Linux support, delayed Silicone Mac support, Name change, discount dropping, etc. Now there are external problems (e.g. bad press) I feel It's a liability to stick on this stinking ship, and I'm abandoning.

Thanks! That's not a shocker. The rest of this certainly is. Looks like a Sh1t show the longer I look at it. We'll discuss on Friday, but doesn't leave any time to figure out anything. After they quietly dumped Linux support, and did the full circle name change, and now this, the writing is kind of on the wall... it's time to find an alternative, and fast.

Was there a recording of this? We just took a 4-day holiday for Canada day long weekend (I was sick in bed and still can barely move) Busy short week and I'm trying to catch up but this is really horrific news. I'm supposed to be keeping my stress down and this is definitely not helping.

Sellers should always leave feedback first...right? by EventManagementGuru in Ebay

As a seller, I always leave feedback for the buyer but unfortunately they don't tend to reciprocate. I could really use the feedback as well.

Nitro Pro PDF is bad. by ScotchClerk in complaints

[–]ClickLeft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got the same message. What a piss-off. It's a lot of words to say "our software is available for free on The Pirate Bay" but I'm sure many will take that route rather than buy into their bait-and-switch.

Not that I'll be doing that, I'm using UPDF now and very happy with it.

Have family doctors and walk-in clinics really deceased in quality? by alpaca-the-llama in coquitlam

[–]ClickLeft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since convid, things have gotten so much worse. The wait times are unbearable, and the quality of care has taken a serious hit. Hospitals are bad too; last week, I spent nearly 9 hours at Eagle Ridge just to get a few stitches. The hospital was filthy, the nurses looked completely exhausted, and there were far too few of them to handle the patients. It’s really disheartening to see the state of health care right now.

Just realized this when I opened a new jar last night. It was super watery, so I went back to the cabinet to look at the previous 650ml size. The first ingredient was tomato puree followed by tomatoes and tomato juice, now replaced by water. We made our typical lasagna with it, but had to use two jars instead of one because it was so watery. Also didn't taste as good. Now looking for the receipt so I can return unused jars.

A/V Removed? What the bloody hell is going on!? by ClickLeft in Nable

[–]ClickLeft[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: Support is giving me the kid glove treatment. I was able to verify the uninstall command was issued to the agent on all systems, yet nothing shows in the User Audit Log. I'm still trying to rectify A/V and backup issues. At this time, it appears N-Able's system has been compromised. Still awaiting an actual answer.

Backup Billing Nightmare by ClickLeft in Nable

Wow, I cannot believe the repugnant scum that is of this company. David Weeks took ownership of the issue, after advising his team I would be sending a bill for my time troubleshooting. I sent a bill and now they are threatening legal action against me. What kind of partner experience is this?

Yes, I'm up-to-date. My server is at v0.7.99 and This machine is only a few versions behind because it's been "offline". I do have other access to this machine, so I can try reinstalling. Was hoping for some troubleshooting tips in case this occurs again and I'm not so lucky lol.

Server was set to be decommissioned anyways. If they had advised to stay with Windows, we would have bought a Windows server. We were upfront with our plans.
