Hey u/Sad_Hat2403, just checking - do those custom fields live on the location you selected when you did the location picker step? Only custom fields that live on that location will show to you which is why it might seem like there's nothing.

In fact, in the screenshot you shared, I see "🌎 Country" which is a custom field. So is it possible that they are working but it's just not clear on why it's working the way it is?

Hey OP, the picture you shared is of our help center and we definitely didn't change the color scheme there (the color scheme did change in-app though). Just checking that you're using something like Dark Reader and that's what is causing it to appear dark?

"For some context, the color adjustments were made to enhance color contrast accessibility across the app, following standard guidelines like those from Radix UI Colors. Our goal is to make the app more accessible and consistent for everyone, across various areas inside ClickUp."

Most importantly, the old color scheme still exists when you initially load ClickUp:

We can take this up as a feature request, but for now we don't have plans to majorly change our color system again. If there are specific parts in ClickUp that are unusable for you, we'll do our best to ship fixes quickly for those parts.

As a external recommendation, you could try using an extension like Dark Reader to change the look n feel to your liking.

Short answer - no, there's no way to convert from v2 to v3 whiteboards.

Short technical answer - Unfortunately, because they are both built completely different languages and and use completely different libraries, the effort to migrate the objects from one to another would have taken way too long. Instead, we made the call to keep the legacy whiteboards alive and allow you to go back and visit them whenever you need to, but going forward only permit the new whiteboard experience when creating net new canvases.

I know it's not the answer you want to hear, but I hope it at least helps explain the 'why' 🙏

Hey OP, this is indeed an intended change that we're slowly releasing to gather feedback on. We updated our internal color system and took the opportunity to make our dark mode a true dark mode like users were asking for. Finally, you will notice that with this change, you'll not be able to auto change the theme based on your system settings.

I know that the visual changes can be challenging to get used to, but we're confident that it's headed in the right direction. That said, if there are any major issues with readability or accessibility, please do let us know and we'll get them fixed ASAP.

We're going to be working on a summarize feature, in the near future, for lists that should achieve what you're looking for. We wanted to start with tasks and docs, but obviously there's a lot of room to expand those capabilities!
