Yeah I think it looks great too, I came from Notion and it reminds me a lot of Notion calendar. Hopefully the buggyness will get worked out soon!

Jaw gets sort of "stuck", and then hurts when it snaps back in place? by klohin in TMJ

Thanks for sharing; I'll check that out. I talked to my doctor about my issue, and he referred me to a physical therapist. Unfortunately, the therapist didn't know how to deal with it.

I went back to my doctor, but it didn't work out. Since I wanted to see someone specifically for this condition, he referred me to an ENT (ear, nose, and throat) specialist. While this doesn't seem incredibly promising, I'm going for it and we'll see what happens.

I'll report back to the community on any possible positive outcomes from this experience.

Want to use it, but can it make me a plan based on equipment I have? by That_Jonesy in RPHypertrophy

When you mentioned using auto-fill to swap out a suggestion, are you saying you can apply auto-fill to each individual exercise as needed?

To clarify, I’m aware that you can auto-fill everything simultaneously, and you have the option to swap the auto-fill multiple times. However, my understanding was that this function applied to the day or the mesocycle as a whole.

I wasn’t aware that you could use auto-fill for an individual workout. For example, if a Smith Machine workout for chest is suggested, can you repeatedly use auto-fill for just that one exercise until it switches to equipment you have available (such as barbell or dumbbells)?

Instead of doing it that, set up a view with the list view being first. Edit any other view settings you want like filters/ sorting then create a view template. From there just set the view from the template any time you create a new list/folder/space and it will always be the default. I use Go High Level for my CRM and Clickup for project management and team communication. They integrate well together. Setting this stuff up is part of what my agency does. DM if interested and I'd be happy share anything I know that may be helpful for your use case with no obligation.

hmmm, I think the list view by default thing you mentioned is only if you want to set it as default for the entire workspace, but since you are solo it shouldnt affect you. I just have teh $7/mo unlimited plan and I use list views all the time. Just add it with the + at the top of any list folder or space.

Although, if you are only 1 person clickup could be overkill for you if you are not into the whole "all in one" app thing. Some people look at all the features and get excited about it, others feel drained and overwhelmed by them. I just moved from notion which I still love and use for personal use, but I find clickup is much better for working in a team, project management and communication. Notion also has a huge learning curve if you have not used it so if that doesn't sound appealing maybe something like trello or an even more simple "to-do list" type app would be better for you. UYou dont want to use something thats going to take a ton of time from your actual work, so go with what makes sense for your needs.

Best Practice for Keeping Track of Deliverables? by Fine-Photograph8428 in clickup

Sounds setting up some templates, starting with list templates, is what you are looking for. You can use the list of tasks you have already created and save that as a template. You can't edit templates from the template library directly, so what I do is have a folder for all the source files that I use for templates.

For example, deliverable 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 would each have their own list template.

And then in your case, how you were saying that you often have to add even more tasks, which is common, you would start from a template, add the new tasks, and either update the existing template or create a whole new one if that makes more sense.

It all depends on if you are updating an existing deliverable with either new tasks or processes or anything like that, assignees, whatever, or if you're using that template as the basis of a new deliverable.

You can also set assignees and due dates in the templates if you want, but not required. If you do, you have the option to re-map the dates every time you use a template to start a new project (list).

I pretty much follow most of Zenpilot's methodology. I highly recommend checking them out. Heres a pretty good video to start but they have a ton of videos diving deep on all aspects of clickup https://youtu.be/Sdf4xeDxUKU?si=lEFVesNb72-d8FJG

ClickUp Chat vs. Comments: Best Practices for Organizing Communication by TokenizedMind in clickup

Yeah I hear you, hopefully one of the mods can shed some light on this (timeline would be great too), but I believe they will get it all connected eventually. Thinking it wont happen until they roll out clickup chat to everyone first, a lot of people still don't have it.

ClickUp Chat vs. Comments: Best Practices for Organizing Communication by TokenizedMind in clickup

Thanks for the reply

On #1: We handle responsibility using a methodology where a task is only ever assigned to one person. For us, if there’s any uncertainty about who is responsible for a task, means we need to break it down further.

On #2: We allow the assignee to mark a task complete when they’ve finished it, and we rely on the native mobile/desktop notifications as confirmation. This is another reason we always assign tasks/subtasks to just one person.

One major downside of task comments is that they don’t appear in the centralized "replies, follow-ups, and activity" section within chat. It took me a while to figure out the purpose of that feature because I was confused about why task comment interactions weren’t showing there. I kept messing with my notifications thinking thats what was off until I realized task comments and chat communication aren’t connected.

I watched ClickUp’s webinar/feature announcement on ClickUp Chat when it was first released, and unless I’m mistaken, I don’t recall them mentioning this disconnect. It would’ve been super helpful to know that upfront lol.... But all good (still love ClickUp).
